Are they made in china

On the knives it says swiss made.

Why do they call this a paring knife? isn't a paring knife a prep tool used for vegetables? doesn't look like any paring knife i've ever seen.

I believe paring knives come in differing shapes. I use this on cutting vegtables and fruit because it is so sharp and can cut the thinnest slices. Love these knives.

Each knive is a little over 8” long.
