Good bendix. Worked good on my starter on my craftsman rding lawnmower.

16hp briggs engine in the Cub Cadet is up and running again.....for how long I don't know. Plastic penion gear and nylon shaft are made to fail on these starters when in contact with steel fly wheel teeth

Saved a lot of money
The drive mechanism on my riding mower starter was broken. I had a choice between a new starter or a starter drive kit. I chose the kit. It works flawlessly and I saved a bunch of money. I would buy this kit again, if I had the same problems with this mower.
