Helpful support from Clearview
The pairing of the remote with my fireplace insert was a problem. The people at Clearview were as helpful and patient as possible.

The thermostat sensor does not work. There is no customer support.
I bought this remote to replace the one I dropped and broke. The first replacement I bought was $99. I did not get it from this company, but it was the exact same remote that I am discussing now. The first replacement did turn on the stove remotely, but did not turn off after reaching the set temp. This remote for $200.00 has exactly the same problem. I need to have a phone number that will connect me to tech support. The web site is completely unhelpful. The photo shows that the remote is set, but the room temp has exceeded the set temp.After all this, and sending it back, I finally was able to get help from the seller of the stove. There is a reset button, not mentioned on the YouTube video that must be accessed with a paper clip. Please check your stove for a reset pinhole.

this is not a kit!! just the remote transmitter. pics are deceiving.
they should have used the remote part number instead of the remote kit part number and not be showing the other parts like the receiver if they are not included.

No customer support and can't return once opened.
I'd give this zero stars if I could. The remote wouldn't work and the plastic packaging said that it is not returnable once opened. I emailed multiple times and when they finally responded, they said they do not offer support on the product so it looks like I'm out a decent amount of money on something that does not work. DO NOT buy from this seller!!
