Fits my Eaton breaker pad
My home is about 30 years old and has an eaten breaker panel made by Cutler hammer and this particular circuit breaker just slipped right in. I am installing a instant Hot water heater, which requires a triple circuit of 30 A each and it’s very nice when I can use this single unit taking three spots versus having three units taking six spots For me, space becomes rare, but all the things that I’ve added to the house but remember this you can have all the spaces you want filled. Just make sure you never go over the maximum average of each side leg of your circuit panel. In other words, if you have 100 amp on the left and hundred amp on the right Totaling 200 amp for the whole circuit, you should never have more than 100 A on your left leg being used at one time because it’s not designed for that that’s why they split things part of your dryer gets maybe 20 A from one and 20 from Lake to, so it’s not like a real 40 amp draw because it’s split over two circus Anyways, if you don’t know what you’re doing electrical technician and study a little bit and you could possibly get the test yourself and install these things yourself and have your county inspector come out and approve it I am not an electrician, but I was raised dabbling with it when I was younger, and when I went to talk to the county inspector, he said it sounded like I had enough knowledge, and then when he saw my circuit box rewire completely because of the fire, he said he never seen a more perfect looking wiring job so you can do it, have faith in yourself just be very very careful and if you’re not sure, get somebody to check behind you and never work with your power panel always turn off the main power coming in at the 200 amp breaker if that’s a use. It never hurts to have a circuit checker. Also to make sure when you start messing around . I actually have specialized tools that are made for sticking in circuit panels and they will not arc as they are made of really hard plastics to bend wire meant to retreat wires and summer basically like special linesman cutters but made of plastic so they’re good for safety against shock hazards Again, if you don’t know what you’re doing don’t do this on your own but if you’re looking for this to begin with, then you probably do know what you’re doing so just play it safe either way because electrical circuits can bite
