12.5-inch Nylon Spatula by Zulay Kitchen

I ordered the smaller spatula and am back to order the wider one as well. I’ve tossed all my other spatula’s out – and I’ve had some for years.This handle is very comfortable, but more importantly for me is the silicone spatula itself. High heat resistant, so no melting. And it’s all one piece, making it so easy to rinse off. And dishwasher friendly – ours is holding up perfectly in the dishwasher.But the most important thing to me is that the spatula is so useful! It’s thin, very thin, with a wonderfully tapered end, but sturdy. Yet not too sturdy. Does that make sense? I’m so picky about spatulas. This has just enough flexibility that I can turn eggs-over-easy… easily! Searing delicate things such as scallops or turning delicate items like omelets and fish is a breeze! And yet, it can handle turning burgers and smaller steaks. And it chops up ground meats while frying for Bolognese and spaghetti. Stir frying in a hot, cast iron skillet is so easy – no more burning my spatula ends with fried rice, hash browns, latkes in hot oil, and flipping/rolling smaller items like shrimp or meatballs is a breeze.Seriously, this is the best spatula I’ve ever had.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is a first class, effective spatula. It works great and is our go-to spatula in the kitchen. Good purchase and would do it again without hesitation.

First of all, make sure you read the product description. The turning surface is smaller than what I expected, but overall is nicely made and good looking. Good price for the item. I never have enough clean spatulas so I will be keeping them. They have a nice long handle, take the heat just fine and clean up easily. I wouldn't leave any silicone or rubber spatula in the pan while cooking, but they will be perfect for smaller items, like cookies :)I saw the picture of what looks like a burger (?) in a pan and decided the size was good. I have a feeling they increased the size of the spatula in the photo (?), it's a bit misleading. The turning surface will be good for most average size cookies but don't expect a large spatula. The product description states a 3" surface. I added photos with average size Fork and Tablespoon so you can see what I'm talking about.

Handsome looking, small, and not strong. Advertised as "reinforced handle" but only part of the handle is reinforced. The the handle near the spatula head is bendy and I expect that it would break with enough pressure. The actual spatula head is sturdy enough and if you need a small maneuverable spatula, this one is good. I am using it for small jobs. It is non-scratch and easy to clean. I don't feel it was a waste of money as long as you know what to expect from it.

I love these spatulas and keep finding new uses for them. The shapes are well designed and very sturdy. I use them for getting the last bits out of the Vitamix and various jars, for air fryer cooking, stir frying and cooking. I love the orange color and that they are a solid piece……they clean easily. The tips are sturdy and have the right amount of flexibility but don’t bend too much.

First review for small silicone spatula. I bought some green pans, and needed a small sized spatula to slide ever so easily under my eggs w/o scratching like my nylon spatulas do. This silicone spatula did the trick. It is so thin and flexible and well made, you won’t be returning this item. I will be purchasing another in the next size up for flipping hot cakes and hamburgers.I was a little reluctant, as there were no reviews posted, but I took the chance and purchase two of them. You won’t be sorry, buying this product, and you won’t need to return it!It had a little bit of an odor when I first opened the package, so I soaked it in a little dawn and baking soda and it did the trick.

I have looked for years for a decent jar spatula. This one is perfect! The long handle keeps my hands clean and out of the way. It's narrow enough for tight openings, and has a long enough blade the scrape the sides. It even has a slight cup shape to it. All these features make it quick and easy to get every last bit of stuff from the jar. Love it! I haven't used the others yet, but am happy to replace my old two-piece wider spatulas for sanitary reasons.

Anyone who is a serious cook will likely find these wholly inadequate. They are very lightweight, and easily broken. I'm actually reasonably happy with them, because I'm not that much of a chef, and when assembled on their stand the whole thing has a very small footprint. (This is VERY good for me, b/c I have a very small kitchen.)They are easy to clean. I've not had much opportunity to test their heat resistance, so I left that field blank.
