I went from "damn fly, where's that thing..." to "I will smite thee through time and space with the wrath of Mjölnir!". Woosh swoosh BOOM, thunder and lightning, body parts breaking free flying desperately through the air. A miasma of death looms in the air.. An evil laugh, "the deed is done...". Mjölnir will now rest, waiting... So... yeah! Powerful thing, very resistant grate like solid build, not overlaped weak mesh. A single spark is usually enough to obliterate the critter mid air with ease. Love it, this is the third one I get!! I still have the first one bought, but I've been getting them as gifts for family members that are impressed by it. "... beware great warrior... such unholy power may consume your soul ... Muahahaha"

Well, I was being overrun by pantry months, this is truly an exterminator. The months almost bust into flames on impact, the crack is most impressive. There is no doubt if you hit the target, a resounding bang and pretty much every time a dead insect. I have stunned a couple of large wasps, but when hit they are quite easy to despatch, the charge must be high, so I would not advise licking the racket. Good tool.

I have owned a couple of different brands of these and found that the rechargeable ones don't last long, the smaller battery ones don't have the power and the alternative large battery ones fall apart both internally and externally. These are well built and well designed 👍

I was hesitant about the cost, but this is the best fly zapper I have ever used. There is no screen that bends and sometimes shorts out. I have now got one for each room I tend to stay in for any while, bedroom, lounge, office. I would recommend this wholeheartedly.

I ordered these zappers mainly because I liked the idea of a single screen, not the three screens you usually get. They are perhaps not quite as safe as the multiscreen version but much more effective in my opinion. A very satisfying Zap! when a small bug gets caught and is rapidly dispatched. Larger bugs take longer and success more likely if the bug can be brought to lie on the screen. I'm still on the supplied batteries, just a quick brush to clean. Easy to use and good value for money. Only problem was trying to register for the warranty. I couldn't complete the online form because of a strange question which makes no sense. All in all, excellent!

These are great. They almost vaporise flies with a resounding CRACK! But I am pleased to know that they kill cleanly and don't leave the poor creatures half alive and leave you to administer the coup de grâce by some other means. Just a word about touching them to see what it feels like. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT! The thing whines with electricity when you switch it on. I'm guessing any personal experience of that will be memorable in a bad way. Flies, fortunately, won't have any memory of anything.

Without the protection barriers, this squatter is much easier to use and kills the insects instantly with a loud bang, so you know you when you are successful. I like the longer length so I can reach up to the ceiling. Of course I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children as they could easily get small shocks when the red light is on. My 94 year old mother is a champion at "BBQing" the insects.

I ordered the dual pack and one of the units arrived broken. The plastic handle was loose, screw wouldn’t attach, and the racket was therefore wobbly.
