Ok so let me first start by saying I was VERY skeptical of this brush. I had read every review of all the different brushes and decided on this one, or should I say my husband did. He is tired of listening to me complain about how long it takes me to straighten my hair. Anyway, got this tonight in the mail, opened it and we'll got to straightening. My hair was just colored, washed, straighten/heat cream put in and then left try dry. Your hair must be dry before using. Usually takes me 1-2 hours to straigten my hair normally, I usually use my instyler which helps but I always have to go over with a flat iron. This brush cut my straightening down BIG time. Got it straight enough that all I needed to do was run a flat iron over it to clean it up. Literally went for 1-2 hours down to 30 minutes TOPS. I should mention I have very curly and very thick hair so for me to write a review you know it had to work. I would highly recommend this and I can't wait to use it again. Oh PS the only reason I docked it a star was no instructions ( which you can find online) and bad placement on the power and temp up and down buttons.

I do not style my hair AT ALL. I have gone thru so many products and the ease of this is all it took for me to purchase it. It does seems to tame my hair. It heats up fast though I do not like the placement of the temperature buttons. As you hold the brush, they are located right where your thumb presses down. In order not to mess with the temperature, I have to hold the brush closer to the cord and I feel like I don't have full control of the straightener.

This is a miracle brush, truly! My daughter is biracial and has rough kinky hair... After washed dried and conditioned I used this brush and within twenty minutes it was silky shiny and very straight... Completely worth the price!!!! The ONLY reason im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is I am left handed and when you use it with your left hand you keep changing the temp and sometimes turning it off.... Was driving me nuts!! But I realize this is a right handed world!

My 14 yr old daughter has very thick super curly hair. We just got this tonight & we went straight to test it out. I let her do itself on a small strand to see how it works & we were both floored. It worked beautifully. Her hair came out STRAIGHT!!! I went ahead & tried it on my other daughter's hair that is wavy and not thick but not thin, it worked great on her too. I went on to myself. I have medium hair that is naturally very wavy but I put braids in it last night so it was extra wavy. And again it worked beautifully & straightens my hair perfectly. I can't believe it worked this well. Telling my sister in law & any other women I know about this product. Wow!!!

Pros: Takes the wave out of my hair with just a few passes. Gives a more natural "straight" than a flat iron and probably not as damaging to the hair. Heats up fast.Cons: Manual is written in bad, bad English (obviously not a native speaker). You need a heat glove to keep from getting hands burned. The buttons are easily pushed during use which changes the temperature as you go. It's a little heavy.

Excited to receive this hair straightening brush after pouring over reviews to decide, I opened it up right away, read the manual and plugged her in! Everything was going smoothly (pun intended) and I was just starting to get excited about how easy it was and how well it was straightening my hair when I accidentally hit one of the buttons on the side. I pull the brush down to check the temperature and saw white smoke billowing out of it!!! I immediately turned it off, then unplugged it but ANY subtle movement seemed to feed it more oxygen as the smoke grew more intense by the second. It obviously got so hot I had to drop it and wasn't able to pick it back up for several minutes which was when I began recording the smoke as it dissipated. At the rate of smoke building I am certain flames would've been pouring from the seams within seconds had I not looked at it and unplugged it when I did. My advice to anyone contemplating buying this brush? DON'T BUY IT! SAVE YOUR HAIR, SAVE YOUR HOUSE, SAVE YOUR LIFE and buy another one!!!

I love this tool! It has cut the time I spend straightening my hair in half. I have very thick, wavy hair and this straightens it nicely ... provided my hair is completely dry. For those that truly need the Fahrenheit temp, press both the up and down temp buttons at the same time. Make sure you clean the brush out between uses to get any hair that might be in the brush out and keep it from burning. I suggest using caution and putting a towel or other heat resistant item under the brush when heating or not in use as it does get hot.

I got this as a gift for my wife. Although she liked it she prefers to use her existing one because that does a better job of straighten for the first time after bath. This item is useful for her to keep up after the first time - e.g just brushing quickly before going out to work. I wish this was the primary tool.
