Wheels are awesome
Been using it for the last year and it’s held up great. The wheels roll so smoothly. My only gripe is it’s just a little too tall. I wish it could be lowered more but aside from that it’s a high quality nice chair

Chair with wheels
He loves this chair! My husband uses it in the kitchen to roll himself around.

great chair but you better be tall
It seems like a great chair but I'm going to have to return it. The Miinimum seat height is 22" and that's a bit high for me at 5'4". Besides, the lever to change the height is very sensitive and all of a sudden you're way up. Now I see what another reviewer was talking about whey she described a scary experience! So it would probably be great for a taller, stronger person but not right for me.

Great quality!
I've had this for about a year now. It still rolls smoothly. The seat level holds steady and is easy to adjust. We chose to not use the back rest due to back issues. I use it in the kitchen while prepping food, mostly, but I do slide back and forth to the livingroom to watch TV during prep downtimes (like while waiting for something to come to a boil). It's saved my bad ankle and my husband's back.It was very easy to put together, and very sturdy, as we are not small people, lol. If you need or want something like this, it has worked fabulously for us!

Sturdy but uncomfortable
I was anxious to get this as the stool I was currently using was simply too old and showing its age. I could not be more disappointed in this purchase, but as you’ll soon read, I’m stuck with it and out $100.PROS:1. Easy to assemble, but there are caveats. See “CONS” below2. That's itCONS:1. Yes, it’s easy to assemble, requiring four screws (supplied) and the supplied Alan Wrench as the only tool required. I put it together in less than three minutes. BUT—and it’s a pretty BIG but—the hydrolic element SNAPS into the base and the seat bottom, meaning there’s really no way to disassemble this thing once you sit on it, making it unreturnable. So I’m out a hundred bucks. This is terrible design flaw #12. The backrest is way too low. It rises to my waist, not the small of my back where it should be for proper support. I’m no giant. I’m 5’9”, which, according to the CDC, is the “average age-adjusted height for American men aged 20 years old and up”. This is terrible design flaw #2.3. Despite being advertised as having a 13.5” diameter seat, the seat actually measures 13.125” in diameter. Now, 3/8 inch may not seem like much but it is, and it translates to the difference between weight being borne on pelvic bone and muscle meat. This is terrible design flaw #3.4. Looking more closely at the reviews, I see that every single 4-star review is from a person with “Early Reviewer Rewards” attached to their name. CLEARLY, this is a paid review (even if it is a very small amount)and should therefore be not just a grain, but a pound of salt. It’s pretty obvious to me that they haven’t actually _used_ the stool, just wrote about it.I see that 7% of the reviews are 1 star with an additional 7% 2 stars, but those reviews are missing for some reason. Hopefully, Amazon will publish this one so it can serve as a warning to others. In summation, BUYER BEWARE.

great sewing stool.
I use it at my sewing table. Perfect size for the spot and great height, stable on carpet and comfy padding. Average price but great fit my needs.
