I previously had been using Tangmai W0. They were fairly comfortable with decent sound quality and bass response. My biggest complaint was that the ear tips just didn't quite fit. So I'd have to push them in frequently to avoid having one fall out of my ears. The new W5 model has completely reevaluated the somewhat harsh high-end EQ spectrum of it's previous model. Also, the bass frequency has been attenuated to a much more controlled and pleasant level. Now if you are a bass head, these nay not be the buds for you. I for one appreciate that the low-end and sub-bass frequencies are now more tamed. Now I can listen to music at higher volumes for much longer without ear fatigue due to blasting bass. I enjoy these buds regularly. Whether I'm at work listening to music in the machine shop or at home during Zoom meetings for video production. They have excellent microphones that are sensitive and really pick up definition and dynamics in my voice, which is fantastic for rehearsing scripts for film projects. Overall the construction of the buds is quite nice. They are much lighter than the W0's and the aluminum chassis is visually pleasing. The charging case has been upgraded to aluminum as well, although the hinges for the lid seem a bit fragile. My only real complaint is that the battery life on a single charge is only about 4 hours. This is a great product and I am excited to see what Tangmai has to offer next.

These things sound amazing! Very detailed. A little shy on bass, but it's very tight and they EQ well. Memory foam tips helped both the bass and noise reduction.Battery life is stellar. At least 8 hours of playtime before you need the case.Touch controls are responsive but there's no previous track gesture.Incoming calls sound great, but other party claims I sound distant.The metal charging case is sturdy and classy. It only lacks wireless charging.My only real complaint is that they could play louder on my S20. I'm often at 90% volume.

I'm so underwhelmed with the product. The earbuds take forever to connect, they disconnect all the time, it's hard to hang up from a call, and the worst part is the background noise and sound quality is not good at all. The best part of the item is the package. Perhaps, more time spent on development instead of 100 boxes to open it up would have aided in a better quality product

These headphones are super comfortable and don't fall out. I had the Tangmai W2 before this pair, because my wife liked them. I mainly wear while mowing the yard or working out but as stated they don't fall out of my ear. Definitely recommend if looking for new earbuds.
