Well it works. The brown is definitely brown. I can’t say I didn’t get my money’s worth. If I were a better dog groomer and more skilled at placement I would possibly have achieved a less comical result. But yes it works great. This product is for professional use only! Description does not make it clear, but using it at home results in permanent damage to your walls, doors, floors. This is devastating, all things considered. I allowed my teen to buy it without knowing this critical info. After the died the cat, the cat spread the die on various surfaces. It will never come off, including expensive floors I just installed. Beware before you buy.

I am not professional hair groomer so I hope this review helps for pet owners who are trying at home out there. I am enjoying color experiment with my poodle and so far I am very pleased! We tried blue first then added bright pink. Color stayed fairly long time despite more than regular washing my dog requires. It has been well over 3 months until the color finally start fading away. I just tried black and it came out more like dark navy than black. I think it’s because he had other color underneath him. I just ordered another tube since I ran out of dye. I think overall product is great, holds the color well. If you have a big dog like mine, I recommend doing the color inside of the shower or wherever water source is nearby. I wrapped his hair with foil after I applied color so it does not get everywhere. Wipe out any areas that was touched unintentionally with soapy towel as soon as possible so it won’t stain the hair where the color was not desired. Based on 3 different colors I have used in the past, color fading varies color by color. So far I found that bright pink color holds the best color and won’t fade as easily. I hope this helps.

I loved this dye, very bright and easy to use. Lasts for a really long time too! The only con is that it reeks of old lady perfume

Covid-19 stay at home orders have inspired many projects I wouldn’t have normally done and this is one of them. Now that I’ve done it, my teenager and I adore it. The color does turn purple on the areas of her ears that are black, but it’s a cool effect. My teenager’s friend borrowed it to do their dog’s ears but that dog was too dark to show the effect. Can’t wait to do her tail the next time I do her ears. The only inconvenience is holding her for 30 minutes. I probably wouldn’t have to because it looks like the dye dries after it sits for a bit, but I really don’t want to find out after I have pink smears on my microfiber couch. Haha

This products has too many restrictions on animals that it can be used on...I need something they is non toxic to every type of dog and cat

I’m so upset. I bought this with the impression it was black. And now I have a purple dog. I would like a refund

It was a cold dreary day in Ohio. I had ordered the purple a week ago for my beautiful, patient, loving dog. My gut instinct kept saying don’t do it, do not dye your dogs hair but like many other mistakes in life I pushed my intuition aside. I thought oh this will be cute look at all the pictures, their dogs look cute ( I scrolled through maybe 5 reviews… big mistake) In hindsight I knew I should have worn gloves. Dug a little further in Amazon reviews but I was feeling adventurous. I am an educated woman, college degree, pride myself in smart decisions… until that day. The hair dye does not go on evenly and was very drying to my dogs hair. It doesn’t wash out either. It’s like that man getting a chest tattoo that says “ No regrets” only spelled wrong. I think my dog might need therapy after this incident. She knows how bad it looks. I am afraid to take her out in fear that her peers will judge her. Also here’s the kicker ….. wear gloves. My hands are purple. I have places to be and people that need to take me seriously but these hands are bright purple. I have tried every u tube remedy for these purple hands and nothing works. I have so many regrets so this is my warning to you…. Don’t do it.Sincerely,Purple hands in Ohio
