I'm happy to report that this holster fits my 4" XD mod 3, as well as my 4" XD mod 2 service model. It fits both well and is very secure. I recommend this item. I like the level 2 push button release. The holster will not easily come off your belt.

Great holster for all calibers of the XD family.
I read a lot of reviews on this for the XD model and took a chance. Don't believe the cry babies saying this holster doesn't work or fit. That's BS. It even says not for XD service model. Guess what? I have the XD service (compact), Tactical and subcompact. ALL XD models fit perfectly, but the holster it's self is longer than the barrel of the subcompact. Definitely, compact and full size frame XD fit great. Damn good holster for the money.

Perfect fit
I purchased this for my Springfield Armory XD9 sub-compact. The fit is perfect. It does not have belt loops it’s over the belt or belt through if you will. But works great the release button is at the right place allowing for a quick draw.

Ordered this holster for my 4inch Full Size XD 9mm. At first when I placed the gun inside the holster, the gun did not lock in place. I thought maybe it was the wrong size. But after trying a few more times, the gun locked in place perfectly. If you slide the gun in very lightly, it doesn’t always catch the lock. If you slide the gun back in with a little bit of pressure. It locks perfectly fine. I have drawn it from the holster many times now and it works flawlessly. Very good quality and functionality for the price.

Springfield XD Compact
Arrived on time.Bought this holster for my Springfield XD Compact 9mm and it fit fine out of the box. The design puts the pistol quite a ways outside the beltline so use it when a slight bulge won't matter. It's fine for winter weather when heavy clothing is worn...this is what I bought it for so works great for me. Holster has several adjustable cant positions and holds firm where you set it as long as you use the tool to properly tighten. As with any new holster be sure to go thru many draw & holster cycles.I like the holster so far.
