After a month of use i found that they are quite sturdy. Although a bit on the expensive side at 4499.

I have been using pvc coated sand dumbbells of 4 kg each since a few years. I liked it. I wanted to upgrade to 5 kg. I ordered a similar material but a better design set. But I found the neck too big for good grip. Since the product showed a crack within 5 days, I returned it.When I saw this type of dumbbells in a gym, I ordered this. I didn’t hear about this brand. This looks sturdy and motivates regular exercise. The metal grip is taking some time to get used to. It is serrated to provide a better grip. This material is three times the price of a pvc model. Overall, a good exercising experience.
