Our ice machine broke, so we haven’t had ice at home in years. No space for regular ice trays in our freezer (without spilling). My daughter and I have fun getting our ice every morning now. And I like the reassurance that we will always have some ice handy when we need it (we bought 2). It takes a little strength to push down on both sides, but the better you do that step, the easier it is to pull apart (don’t forget to open it to release the vacuum). The physics behind this gadget is ingenious!

Wish I would have found these a long time ago. My refrigerator doesn’t have the ice and water feature in the door. I’ve had to struggle with ice trays for too long. Stumbled upon these in one of those BuzzFeed articles with products you should immediately buy. I am so happy I did! Super easy to use and so convenient. They don’t take up much space in the freezer. They are truly amazing. I put the old ice trays in the recycle bin.

I got a set of two of these which works well. I would always spill water trying to get ice trays into the freezer. No worries with these. They're easy to fill and they don't take up a lot of space. One complaint is about breaking the ice up. My arthritic hands are not strong enough to do this. When I pulled the handles to release the cubes, the ice did break up small enough to fit through the opening. Still it would be good to have an easier way to do that. My other complaint, also related to my arthritic hands, is the container is too hard to take apart for cleaning. It can still be cleaned without taking apart but not as thoroughly.

I love these. I can toss them in the freezer drawer any which way. I love them so much I bought 3 more.

I purchased these for my mother to use while camping when she doesn't have an automatic ice maker. She has had multiple hand surgeries and regular ice cube trays are difficult for her. I gave her one and kept one for myself to try. I have strong hands, no injuries and can barely get it open to use, so no clue how she will! If you don't follow instructions absolutely perfect, forget about getting any ice out. In the end they are expensive and not worth purchasing and I had to throw them away.

My freezer's icemaker died and I don't use enough ice to make it worth repairing, so I bought two of these. They work great and feel totally solid. The water is enclosed like a sealed bottle, so they don't spill and can be frozen vertically, horizontally or any orientation. You can easily tuck them into the random crannies of a packed freezer. I haven't figured out how to get them fully apart to clean (and they are dishwasher safe) but I may not need to since I'm only putting water in them anyway.

It definitely saves space in the freezer but I think from having to pull to release the ice it causes the leaking issue I experience. Often it requires me to re-snap the sides very time I refill it.

Love these trays! The trays are easy to fill and get the cubes out. They also don’t take up a lot of space in my freezer.
