Folger's may need to give up its slogan...We've LOVED this cup for DECADES!Once we had this deep, rich, chocolatey roast -- there was no going back.We try new brands and support local roasters, we even drink the occasional Mc Donald's coffee...but we always come back to this brew. It's PERFECT. And consistent in quality. Delicious every time!Especially if you like a dark or stronger coffee. Milder than #espresso or a true smokey French roast (typical of other PEET'S blends), but a similar strength and very smooth body.Yet, the aftertaste is not bitter.So much so, that the hardcore coffee drinker in the house stopped putting cream in their coffee (and they honestly never thought that was possible)!I worked for this company's competition and while they had some very nice brews (that I could recommend), this one is betterIn this modern era, if you like adding "adaptogens" or oils (like "bulletproof coffee"), I can still testify to PEET'S Major Dickason's Blend as blending such flavors and textures just fine within it's robust nature. But...it'll also make a great Irish coffee! ;-)So, in our vast opinion, the price points (depending where you shop) are fair for Peet's exquisite, quality bean!

I love the Peet's Coffee, Dark Roast Ground Coffee - Major Dickason. I drink half caf so I mix this with thePeet's Coffee, Dark Roast Ground Coffee - Major Dickason Decaffeinated coffee. It is my favorite blend.

Awesome dark roast.

This is a great blend. So rich with great body. Absolutely delicious and is my current favorite. Every sip is like tasting something new. From chocolate to just "coffee," it keeps on going.I use a scale to weigh my coffee. For 8 cups on the pot, I go with 33-34 grams of grounds.Chocolate notes in this coffee are off the charts. It has a a very balanced bitterness and acid. I love this coffee the very minute it is brewed and if I liked single serve coffee machines, I'd recommend these in K-cups or at least whole bean. I do not currently have a grinder so I am stuck with ground, but it is still pretty fresh in the foil bag.Peete's... who ever came up with this blend, and I am sure you have printed the history on the bag or something, thank them for me. This is a delicious coffee.A little light cream, 2 sugars and just enjoy.
