I bought this mainly for the embroidery rings but all the rest are a bonus. The rings are good quality with the screw tightening unit more substantial than on some more expensive rings as it can be tightened without bending. Unlike some people, I have no complaints about the needles and have tried to break them without success as I already have loads of needles of all sorts so didn't mind if I threw these away. I can't see they are any different to any others, but the quality may vary from kit to kit, and this might be the same for the rings and I have just struck it lucky. The threads are as good as more expensive makes with a good sheen, but I haven't tested them for colour fastness. If any of the colours bleed as I wet it to remove the Pilot Frixion pen used to trace the pattern, I will add salt to the water to set them. Red is the most likely to run with cheap threads. Not sure why they have included a kimihimo disc as this is not embroidery, but it is the only part of the kit which has instructions and the basic braids are very simple to work, with loads more instructions for more complex ones on YouTube. I gave three stars for the 'easy to use?' question as embroidery always takes practice and if you are someone who has never done much sewing, it might take a while to get results you are happy with but don't give up. The needle'nthread website is an excellent place to go for very clear instructions for loads of embroidery stitches. I gave four stars for suitability for beginners as it includes everything you need except scissors and instructions but there's loads of help on the internet and as before, I use needle'nthread more than any other. Note in the photo that the screw hasn't bent the brackets as I tightened it. I've had expensive hoops in the past where the brackets bent towards each other as you tightened the screws so the ring never got any tighter. The slight bulge in the fabric is because the ring is near the edge of the fabric so there's not much for it to grip and I shouldn't have put that bit right next to the screw. But it was tight enough to embroider the leaves, and the fabric is very tight in the rest of the ring. Please excuse my slightly uneven stitching, I'm having chemo which is affecting my finger tips a bit but while I'm there, doing embroidery is much better than watching Netflix on their phones or sitting doing nothing which is what most people seems to do. I've finished all my knitting over the last few months so now have changed to embroidery to pass the time! Eventually this will be a panel set in on the side of a bag; I chose the colours to match the fabric to be used for the bag.

I needed a different size embroidery hoop, and buying this package was a cost effective way to not only buy the hoop I needed, but to have several different sizes. Word of caution,the needles are flimsy, one broke close to the eye whilst in use, which was tricky to resolve, but are okay as a back up . Threads seem of fair quality , and come in a variety of usable colours . Overall, pleased with purchase.

This is a really impressive kit for the price. It has basically everything you need to get started with hand embroidery. There’s a good selection of various sized hoops which are all comfortable to hold and work with. The kit also comes with instructions to help you start with some of the most basic stitches, and a whole lot of different coloured threads. This kit is suitable for all age ranges (as long as they’re ok with a needle). I can definitely recommend.

I was very skeptical at first when ordering this pack because of how it was cheaper than the other sets but I was pleasantly surprised! The threads are beautiful colours and quality. I even found myself pulling the threads in half so that I could get more out of them, even though you are supplied with a fair amount per colour. The hoops are great, I did find it a bit difficult to re-tighten them with the fabric in but a little bit of elbow grease will sort it. (Had to get my partner to tighten them) The fabric is great with holes that are big enough to see but not so big they ruin the picture. The instructions are in several languages and the English is pretty basic, still not sure what the foam wheel is for but it hasn't hindered my use of the products. Beautiful set, would happily order again!

Yes you can use it for beginners which is great, but I bought it for fun and extras. Thread quality could be better, but with all the other things you get, it’s still good.

Die Rahmen sind super und die Fäden sind auch in Ordnung . Das Material zum besticken ist kein Stoff. Das ist sehr fest und fühlt sich am wie Plastik. Kann man super nehmen um lesezeichen oder z.b. Weihnachtsbaumanhänger zu machen . Würde es jederzeit empfehlen und/oder wieder bestellen.

An sich ist das Set sehr gut. Man hat alles was man braucht, um zu sticken. Das Einzige, was ich jedoch bemängeln muss, sind die Stickrahmen. Es ist sehr schwer, die Stoffe damit einzuspannen. Deshalb würde ich es empfehlen, dass man sich nochmal bessere Stickrahmen holt.

When I first ordered it, it arrived in just 5 days, but unfortunately the box was damaged, with the tape cut or ripped from the opening. So I am not sure if the parts fell out or if there was a mistake in the shipping, but when I opened the box I only had recieved the 7 hoops, but am missing the other 96 pieces (floss, needles, canvas etc). I called customer support and they very kindly refunded me, so I will try and order it again as it seems to just be a one in a million mistake compared to the other reviews. I was super excited to work on some embroidery projects, but I guess Ill have to be more patient. Hopefully the second try works out!

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Stickset. Bei den Stickgarnen sind keine doppelten Farben dabei und die zugeschickten Farben sind allesamt echt schön. Die Nadeln sind dünner, als es typische Sticknadeln normalerweise sind, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefällt. Auch die Qualität der Stickrahmen lässt keine Wünsche offen, zumal die unterschiedlichen Größen wunderbar für verschiedene Projekte nutzbar sind. Auch die restlichen Teile, wie der Zählstoff und die Bobbins sind von angemessener Qualität. Insgesamt ein super Set für einen günstigen Preis.
