I had complete knee replacement. This thing was great for the first three days I wasn't able to lift my leg just put the loop on the end of your foot and there's different grab lengths. I easily was able to lift my leg into the bed or very handy. Helps when you lift your leg to get in your car as well.

This item has metal in it to keep it stiff. It arrives folded up, so someone needs to be able to straighten it out, and it is difficult.Pros: Stiff. Easy to loop over your foot.Extra loops to help lift your leg up.Stiff enough to lean on something or store in a stand of some sort.Well made.Cons: Stiff. Can get in the way as you lift your leg.Pretty difficult to straighten out from folded.You should not get it wet.Bottom line for me, I love that it's stiff. It's easy to get my foot into so when I need to lift my leg up to slide a pillow underneath its a breeze. It was definitely hard to straighten it, you need some hand strength.

Rigid , stiff material.

I wondered how this would work with me because it’s so hard to get my legs up to the sofa and into bed. So, I waited until I finally bought it. To my surprise, it lifted my leg without a problem! Even with using my weak arms, I could lift my leg and put it where I needed it. Amazing. Now I’m cursing myself for waiting so long to get it!

When they say semi rigid. It is not flexible at all. I can't get it to round out or straighten. I can't bend it at all. Not sure if I can use it. Ill see if one of my neighbors can form it into anything useable. Its the shape of the box now 2x12 with three curved sections. Gave it a 3 star may come back at change it but there isn't anything I can do to straighten a piece of metal. Just put a dent in my wood table trying to force it out of a big Z shape. My looped gait belt works better than this.

It helped me very much. I just had my knee replaced and this was a life saver.

The metal rip through the fabric after 4 uses.

My grandma has a hard time getting in and out of vehicles that she has to lift her foot/leg higher to get into. We got this and she raves about how easy it is to use with one hand and how she can still hold on with her other hand to the seat or door to hold her balance. I would highly recommend. She has a lot of back trouble and this has made her feel like she can go more because it increases her mobility! So thrilled with this and the fact that she's not so scared to go out and do more!

Ease of use

Bought it for my dad to help him to get on my car but it's to much trouble to bring out as it's hard to fold up. So he never uses it

This product looks ok. But my husband became very poorly so we never really usedIt but I'm sure in the right situation it would be fab X
