The title says it all. Don't waste $60-$100 on iFi's power supply offerings to replace the underpowered stock power supply that comes with the amplifier. Get JOVNO's power supply instead (5v/10a/50w). Not only does it input more power silently, but the extra amperage and watts compared to both stock and iFi's iPower and iPowerX will help the Zen Can drive your most power-hungry headphones. I noticed an immediate boost in the soundstage, authority in bass and lower tones, and additional clarity when comparing power supplies. I had to turn the dial down from 12 o'clock because of the boost in power, even in low gain, using a Moondrop Para, Sennheiser HD 600, and MrSpeakers Mad Dog. I highly recommend this power supply. It is a must for the iFi Zen Can.

Great quality adapter for 5v electronics made by a good company.

I bought this because I needed a 12v adapter to run my 12 amp diesel heater. The internal wires are 20awg, and melted when my heater requested 12amps. I cut out the melted wire and reconnected the plug with an amp meter attached to verify, and my heater was requesting 12 amps and melted the wire again within 30 seconds. There is no way this can power anything over 5-7 amps with that small of wires.

Use case: Power a long LED strip for ambient TV backlighting, pulling around 10 amps.Overall: Hit or miss, bought three, one worked fine, other two were weird. Grab higher quality female barrel jack connectors.Bought three of these power supplies to power a lighting project I was working on. I had two separate loads, and powered each with their own supply. One worked fine, other one was spotty, seemed that the female barrel jack connector was faulty, though I tried a second and it didn't work well either. Ended up frying it (my own fault, unrelated) so I bought a third to replace it.Same issue with spotty connections on the third one. Tested with multimeters to be sure that the failure point was the female connection point, and it was. Had a deadline for this project, so ended up taping the negative wire to the outside of the male connector, and the positive to the inside, as a temporary solution.

So far these power supplies have been great for driving my led light strips. They came with connectors to connect to the bare wires. I have the mounted outside but protected from the elements and they have held up under 98+ temps without any problems. Best part is they are considerably cheaper than a lot of the other 5v 10a power supplies.

I was in need of a 5v 15amp power supply, and they seem pretty hard to come by, I was very pleased with my purchase as it was indeed great value for the money. Other options were the exposed power supplies that you have to wire yourself. For me, this was a safer and much cleaner solution.
