CasioMen's Vintage CA53W-1 Calculator Watch

Lovely quality item. They’ve updated the display style slightly to replace more modern taste but still retains a retro look. Items works well. Have a a gift to partner for Xmas and they have worn it every day since no issues. Silicon straps are comfortable and the fit/size is ideal. It is easy to read the time from it.

As an owner of the black version of this watch, the difference in visibility of the display is very marked indeed. Do not buy this version if you are working in anything but bright light. Note the display is meant to be seen from an angle, as if you were using the calculator function. That being said, it’s a lovely colour and you will get used to having a display you need to view at an angle. If you want a more visible display, buy the black version that has a traditional display.

Just felt poor quality and only one row of buttons worked, sent back and got a refund.

Looks great, but important to note that there isn’t a back light.

A great version of the classic digital watch although the negative display configuration makes it challenging to read in certain lighting.

Don’t let the picture convince you otherwise. The display I appalling and hard to read in any type of light. As Casios go this has to be the cheapest nastiest version I think I have ever seen and I’m a child of the 80s so have had a fair few in my time. Button quality is very poor and they are so small and irresponsive once a timer/alarm is set it stays so for a long time until you get sick of it. Save your money and look at other models.
