Good value; quality product
This suspension post fits my Giant brand bike quite well, and provides nice, sturdy cushioning. I ordered it for my other bike and needed a 30.9 mm size. I did not realize the post would not actually be that size and came with a sleeve to make the smaller standard post match. Not wanting to use the sleeve, I found it fit my other bike.Later I ordered the 30.9 mm sized suspension post from an online bike shop. I’m pleased I got the exact size post needed. My only caution to anyone considering buying this standard post is to make sure you know exactly the size you need, and understand it may require use of the small sleeve the company sends along.

Works great on my Lectric XP 3
I bought the black 31.6” for my Lectric XP 3.0. Fits fine, no shims or sleeves needed. Better quality clamps, better tension adjustment and smoother operating than the “premium” Lectric branded suspension seat post. I set at the min insertion line and at a 3/8” sag. To set sag I put a zip tie around the chrome part of post and push all the way against the main post, then gently sit on the bike and get off to see how far the zip tie pushed up, then measure. Adjust tightness from bottom. I believe the height is about the same as old one. Time will tell, but I’m happy with it!

This is a nice suspension post for a reasonable price. I got the gold and it looks pretty cool on my bike. I got to say a Suntour post is much better but more expensive also. the problem I had was my thick seat made it too tall for me so I though I would give this a try. This suspension bike tube work great with my thick seat and I can adjust it accordingly to fit my height. It has great cushion for this nasty bumps and you can make it firm or soft however you choose. So it a great option for a 3rd of the price. The only real problem I have with it is the adjustment for raising and lowering the front and back of the seat is kinda lacking a bit. It could use a couple more slots to be able to adjust it a little more. Thats pretty much the limitations of it for myself. If you need some cushioning for your bike and you’re on a budget this post is definitely for you. A good option at a reasonable price. Thanks Don

Game changer suspension
I purchased this for my c1s escorted. It wasn't fun to drive whenever you hit a Crack or bump in the pavement that it rattled your teeth. Took a chance on this and all I can say is worsens. I love riding it now. This post works so good that it's like night and day. Easy to assemble as well.

Leveling the seat is not intuitive
Overall, I like the suspension. Not too stiff. Not to soft. Good price. The headstock is not removable. Not a huge deal because a lot of seats come with rail or post mounts, but something to be aware of if you have a pole mount seat.Leveling the saddle is NOT intuitive. I tried 2 different seats before I figured it out. No amount of sliding the seat front to back on the rails was helping. Finally, after looking for a replacement post, I found some guidance. You can’t just put the seat on the post and tighten it down. Otherwise when you put the post in the frame it will likely be at a weird angle.Loosely attach the seat to the post. Put the post in the frame. Wiggle the seat until it’s level, then tighten it up. I’m not a professional bike mechanic, so maybe that’s obvious to some, but it was not intuitive at all to me. I kept expecting to find an adjustment screw somewhere to level front to back as the post that came with my bike has.BTW: product images show that you can adjust saddle level, and to see the video…video does not show that, making the images more frustrating than helpful.

Absorbs all the bumps
Bought this product for my Aventon Aventure2 Ebike. Paired it with a YLG extra wide bike seat with seat springs and it's definitely been a game changer on long rides. Very comfortable and takes a heap of the shocks from bumps. Great quality for the price!

Better than my 'Thudbuster' but for a quarter the cost
with a hardtail mtb(mountain bike) rough roads and trails can get tough on the body at times. i started out trying a thudbuster that came highly recommended. it costs a good chunk of change but i wanted the best so gave it a try. unfortunately it was very stiff, didn't help at all. so i ended up sending it back. that's why i looked here for an alternative design and went with this one.after reading the reviews about the only negative i could find were a few that cited a rubbing noise when the post would move up and down. yes when you are not riding it, unattached, you can hear a soft rubbing sound when pushing it up and down. but that is due to the milling of the post not a defect at all and not obtrusive by any stretch. most importantly when i ride, i can hear absolutely nothing except the normal sounds of riding my mtb.what i do notice when riding is a surprising improvement in comfort! i was very surprised as this cost a quarter what my thudbuster did. i felt the difference both on paved surfaces but especially on trails.Things to Know -1) get the right size seat post adapter so this will fit. you'll need to know the diameter or what you have on your bike and then find the proper one to fit both diameters.2) no matter if it's this seat post or the thudbuster etc., they all raise the 'lowest' position you can set your seat height to. if you currently ride with your seat post all the way down this will raise you up a couple inches. mostly impacts those who are of shorter stature or have a bike frame a little too large for their body type.Summary - i have had several back surgeries over the years and riding anything be it a horse, motorcycle or bicycle comes with a dose a pain after the fact. that said this post without a doubt has greatly reduced the pain factor and made riding the bicycle much more enjoyable! this is one of those rare times where i got in my sincere opinion, more than i paid for and am very happy.i highly recommend this to anyone with a hardtail bicycle.

Okay
Good price. Easy install. A little improvement in the ride, but not as much as I had hoped.

Works as expected
Riding on uneven pavements and gravel paths, it removes most of the jolts on my bottoms so the ride becomes at least 80% more comfortable than not having it. The device is inexpensive and simple to install, so I can give it a 5 star rating.

Comfort accessory for a nicer ride.
Great for reducing bum and spinal discomfort across uneven ground. This Schock absorbing seat post adds comfort without sacrificing pedal and rolling power, like front fork shock absorbers do.

It's Impossible to rate unless you can compare it with another brand.
It feels super steady and stiff on a normal ride. However it's difficult to write a review if you have nothing to compare it with. I noticed on my only street rides that if you hit a bump it does work but unless you have a camera attached to the bike somehow you can't tell on what size or degree of uneven surface the mechanizm kicks in and the suspension does what it's designed to do...I give it 4 stars only because I can't compare,....
