As a hobby machinist this was a big step up for me. The inserts cut well enough and have lasted well enough for me. Finish was good and was better with higher speeds.

So far these inserts work very good. They are giving me a very good finish and they look like theywill hold up well.

They cut well, but far more prone to breaking than any of my other carbide bits. The first one I used broke just tightening the screw.For the money, they’re not bad. If there weren’t so many for cheap, I’d have probably been angry. Just plan on turning them 60 degrees, and swapping them often.

The cost was perfect.

These work great and last pretty good

I ordered them for my Gerber center drive and they do last much longer than the original replacement blades!By the way, I use the Gerber center drive since about 3 years every they at work as an meintenance mechanic. A great tool just the original carbide inserts are waisted money.

Can't push this insert as much as top brands can, yet it still does a decent job on light to medium work.

Great product, good for small jobs, small lathes. Would recommend for large lathes tool holder half inch square.
