After eating, I feel wasteful for disposing of the plate -- that's how excellent the quality is. Seems as though they should be a bit more worn before discarding. These can definitely be used more than once. I would actually rinse, and whipe gently with soap and use the next day. I think they can stand a bit of water, just once. These are GOOD plates, man. I've actually stored these in the fridge for later use. But, since the price is do-able I get careless at times, and just toss 'em! It's a very large amount of plates you're getting -- especially, if you're single! I'm not sure how anyone could rate these less than 5 stars. They're disposable plates. I don't see what the problem is. The only issue I have with these plates would be the design. I wish patterns, and/or color schemes were an option to make them more fun to look at. The best thing about them is that they come to your door! Hello? Get these plates, you don't know what you're missing. They're a great addition to any pantry. Probably the most economical high quality disposable plates. I use these for camping/RV applications to avoid utilizing more water to wash dishes. I also use these at home when I'm just being lazy and I don't want to wash anything. It's not environmentally responsible, but when you have to, this is my choice. Still, they're much better than using styrofoam plates that cannot be burned or recycled in a camping situation. They're very rigid and can hold a good amount of weight when full. Worst case, you can always double-up if needed. This packs is a good economical choice. I would recommend.
