Great world building
I find myself enjoying this LN. Some out there apparently don’t like it but overall I think it’s a realistic LN of what a somewhat hardcore gamer would be dropped into. He doesn’t remember all of his old spells and the names of things he can summon which perhaps has sapped a decent amount of his potential strengths. But I think the author is doing a good job on following him and building up the world around him. I’m able to follow most of the world that Arc travels around and I find it genuine that he’s more concerned about his curse and food than money. Perhaps the most realistic thing is that he doesn’t have any type of broken skill like a magical infinite inventory or unrealistic passive abilities that make him untouchable.

Overall, pretty good
I like the premise, characters, overall plot, and world building. What I do not care all that much for is getting too engrossed in side issues or unnessecary little things. It ruins the flow of storytelling. Feels clunky. It was fine for the first three books, but these last two have been chores to read. Not sure what happened between point A and point B, but if we don't pick up the overall plot and start moving it along, I'm going to wander away from this one. It's not enough fun to read to stick around to find out what happens next. Pity, as the whole setup has quite a bit of potential.

Short with some character development
My main reason for give 4 stars is due to the feeling that the story was very short with barely a glimpse at life in the southern continent. This feels more like just a break from the rest of the story.Other then that we got some character development for both Chiyome and Arc with a bit of a closer look at Chiyome's past.We also got a glimpse at the darker side of the Hilk

Mostly harmless fun
This isn't a ground-breaking series but it's harmless fun adventures and slice of life. If you liked the earlier volumes enough to read them all you won't be blown away by this one, but you probably won't be disappointed either. It's more of the same but that's not always a bad thing.

Excellent
I really enjoyed reading about how the MC and his group explore their fantasy world and the magical warfare and creature violence were awesome. Looking forward to volume six.
