I bought this for my terrarium. Decent quality for the price. Scissors are nice and sharp, tweezers have good grip. One wish - I would have liked the Scissors to be thinner/more precise. But, this was a good price for what you get.

I bought these to trim the plants in my terrarium and they are perfect for the job. The scrissors are very sharp and the tweezers are great to be able to pick up the trimmings as I can't fit my hand in the terrarium jar!

Update: the kit seems to be very good. No rust. Life saving when planting in the aquarium. Excellent!Good set of tools for my aquarium. Sharp scissors. Able to cut stems in my plants with no problems. 4 stars because the metal isn’t polished very well and I fear that over time, after constant contact with water it may rust. Fingers crossed it won’t. I will update on that later if it happens.

All good quality items, but unfortunately the main thing I wanted was curved aquarium scissors. The description states these are, but they are completely straight. Resulted in me having to buy another set of scissors which is annoying.

I’m a seasoned aquascaper and I will tell you that if you buy cheaper products and use them daily (or are an outright stubborn perfectionist like myself) these won’t last will not last years and years. Stainless steel or not. If you want longevity then you will need to buy ADA or Oase accessories. However if you purchase these tools, and use them occasionally and/or you are a beginner then these are ideal for you to get to grips with planting and maintenance work. I should really buy the more expensive brands because I go through them fairly often but I needed a set of straight tweezers after my own broke and my local shop wanted the same price just for the one item and I thought what the heck. My son needs a set so here I am. They did the job, I have fully scaped a 125l Fluval tank for my cherry barbs (plants bought from Aquarium Gardens whom I highly recommend). Will they last forever? No probably not but you get what you pay for and these are decent enough for the price. So I recommend these for occasional use and beginners.
