The only way to go for an exterior door viewer
This is far better than the cheaper ones available in the big box stores and the cheaper quality ones available also on Amazon. I first tried a cheaper one because it was available for next day delivery and it was very poor quality and had a very bad view with cheap, flimsy, plastic optics. I could barely see through it; the view through it looked cloudy and very distorted. This Schlage one however provides a very clear, wide angle of view and has nice glass optics. The better viewer on the Schlage really makes this the best value and most functional exterior door viewer currently available.

Very small and hard to see through viewer
The viewer is so small as to be useless. We decided not to use it.

Works perfectly, easy to install. Looks good but is actually "satin chrome" as opposed to "satin nickel"

The viewer does everything as described, Was very easy to install. Just be aware that entrance doors can have steel housing on them.
