Helpful for the non-surgeon too
Even as a non-surgeon, understanding the detailed structure and function of the female pelvic anatomy can be critical to understanding symptoms and pathology. It also can be very helpful to understand exactly what the surgeon may do or plan to do when I send a patient for possible surgery. I found the images to be extremely helpful (I'd recommend the printed version) for all of the above-mentioned purposes. As a physician involved in the care of women's health and sexual disorders for over 30 years, I highly recommend that if you care for women, buy this book, study the images, and keep it near your desk for future reference.

Nothing new
Its a grate surgical book in general , I had the older addition , I thought they would add something new , nothing of significance , not worth the price difference from the 4 th edition

Good reference book for surgical anatomy and procedures
Excellent resource for pelvic anatomy and plethora of surgical procedures that one may dream of performing. The only downside is that the image quality is probably inferior to that of a digital screen, though it’s difficult to print HD images nowadays that is comparable to high resolution digital devices.Al in all great book to have around for reference when needed.
