Infant Optics DXR-8 Power Adapter for Monitor Unit (110v240v Compatible)

So we absolutely love this camera and would re-buy it again in a heart beat! The only issue (resulting in 4 stars) is that the power cord inserts at the side of the screen, so depending on which side of the bed you have it, the cord could be wrapped around the back which begins to crease the cord. In addition to that, my toddlers would come in and want to see the camera and pick up the screen portion which would then put pressure on the adapter input. Finally, it got loose and sort of pulled out and wouldn't go back in securely. I purchased a new cord which works perfectly and our new set-up in the room has relieved the pressure from being on the wrong side of the screen.Again, the camera and functionality is great! The cord a little less great, but for the cost of replacement, the negatives aren't a big deal.

LOVE this monitor. We are first time parents and this has made being vigilant a lot easier. I can hear my daughter, see her and talk to her if need be. It has night vision which is great. We mounted it on the wall above her crib and the camera is so great you can rotate it however you need. There is a zoom function which is also nice. We bought the wide angle lens, but haven't needed to use it yet. Down the road we will buy other cameras and expand on this system. If memory serves, I believe you can add up to 4 cameras, which is nice as we plan to expand our family. Buying these extra cords make charging the system much easier. Having a cable wherever you think you would need one is great. Admittedly, when we first bought it, I didn't get what the big deal some people were making in their reviews. Now, with my 5 month old, I get it. Convenience is key.

I really like this purchase! The monitor is very clear and the camera is working perfectly. My only wish is that the "view" could be set for longer than 5 minutes... I find that I have to keep pressing the top button to see my baby in the crib. I think the concept is to preserve battery life but since it's plugged in I would prefer having the option.

Works great, and love the 2 size options. Just wish the warning label wasn't placed so close to the end of the cord that attaches to the monitor. I'm a bit of a rule follower so I can't bring myself to cut it off, but I t is always getting in the way.

Works wonderfully. Wish it came with another plug-into-wall unit as it came with two cables. I ordered one so I could easily move the monitor from room to room.

The cord to the parent console was loose and would fall out often (likely due to continued removing and re-inserting). I bought this new cord and it solved the problem. I should have bought it sooner. And extra bonus: it was longer than the original cord.

works great! love this monitor system now that all the power cord issues are fixed. Have had the camera for 3.5 years. travel with it a lot. no broken parts. lost the last power cord which is why I had to purchase a new one.

Was SO EXCITED to find this, after the one that came with my monitor got bent, and no longer worked. Not so thrilled now, because the 3 foot cord also broke in the same spot- the metal piece that plugs into the screen bent and it no longer works - and I've discovered, after trying the 10 foot cord, that it's just a dud. So, despite my dissastisfaction, I'm about to buy another one, because without it, the whole thing is useless.
