Good pens

Let me start by saying these pens are very very smooth. I mean it feels like i'm writing with oil on the paper ridiculous analogy I know but no other way to describe it. Better than the G2 hands down the ink smears like crazy and preferred over the signo 207 micros as they get a bit scratchy in 0.5mm size. PROS: 1. SUPER smooth writing 2. Dries very very quickly (doodled randomly everyday just to try to smear the ink but just laugh at how fast it dried) 3. Great design very stylish 4. Grip and size is very comfortable 5. Refillable ($1 buck for refills in blue or black from jetpens.com) 6. Needle tip work flawlessly 7. Does not bleed through the paper i write on (printer paper mainly) CONS: 1. Not very cheap (but worth the price) 2. The clip although metal it's attacthed to plastic that doesn't feel very strong 3. Not the finest line from a 0.5mm pen With the cons aside it was worth every penny. It's a pleasure to write with everyday. I find myself just writing and doodling for fun just to use the pen it's a habit i'm developing because of these pens ahaha

These pens are awesome! I've been searching for the perfect pen for quite awhile. I write a lot at work, and I was just tired of the same old boring black ink pens. These are a gel ink, and I love them. The ink does take a few seconds to dry, but it hasn't caused any problems. The color is very deep black, and it writes very bold in a .5 needle tip. The pen itself also looks sleek and professional. It is very comfortable to hold, as it's not too big, and it has a rubber grip. The price was also much better here than in any store. The fact that they are retractable is also a plus. I don't have to worry about losing the cap all the time now!

As a copy editor, I go through a lot of red ink. I've tried dozens of pens: ballpoint, gel ink, permanent markers, fine tip, extra-fine tip, you name it. This particular Pentel pen -- the EnerGel liquid gel ink NEEDLE TIP, RETRACTABLE pen -- is hands down the best. Ever. Period. I order them by the box, now, and keep them tucked in a drawer when not in use. The ink doesn't smudge, and the pen makes a precise, smooth, fine red line for getting marks into all those tight spaces between letters. The rubbery sleeve at the base lends it a comfortable feel in the hand. The retractable tip keeps you from accidentally destroying the micro-ball tip if you drop your pens often (like I do). This pen does not skip, not even when you're near the end of the ink reserve. Instead, the line gets a bit faint. Five stars.

GREAT pens. I'm kind of a pen freak, and these have become my favorite. PROS 1. The ink dries very quickly on most paper. 2. The pens have a good weight to them, and a comfortable rubber grip. Even after long periods of writing in class, my hand experiences very little fatigue, compared to other pens I have used. 3. The writing tip seems to glide very effortlessly. Even the slightest downward pressure on a medium will release an appropriate amount of ink. 4. The .5mm tip is perfect for making precise marks in small areas. I'll never go back to .7mm or above. CONS 1. As noted above, the ink does dry considerably quickly. But, still, it's not the fastest-drying ink ever, so a "lefty" might still experience some frustration with smearing. 2. The ink, while rich, can sometimes bleed through the thinnest of papers. If you use printer/copier paper, it should be fine. However, if you plan to (for example) takes notes on both sides of cheap notebook paper, there's a good chance that you'll noticeably see the writing from the other side. SUMMARY Again, great pens, my favorite, but be aware that the rich ink is prone to smear slightly, and has a tendency to bleed through thin paper.

These pens write very smoothly and evenly. The fine tip makes it easy to fit what you are writing in a small space.

It is great for journals, and quick markups for editing special notes.
