Originally, an RC car isn't the kind of thing I'd just randomly decide to buy on a whim. I don't really have the space for it in my flat and probably wouldn't get much use out of it to begin with, other than a few sparing uses here and there when I'm bored. Instead, I decided to take the chance and get an early Christmas present for one of my nephews. At least this way I could test it, see how it runs, and then that's one less present to pay for.As it turns out, my poor nephew may no longer be getting his present any longer. (Either that, or I'll have to end up getting my own.) The RC car itself is a lot of fun and considering what you're paying for it, there isn't a lot that I can honestly complain about overall.What does it come with, though? First of all, what you'll get with the entire package is an RC Car, a controller, a small screwdriver, instructions booklet, two rechargeable batteries for the car, and a USB charger for those batteries. The only thing you will need is a pair of AA batteries for the controller and that's about it - you're all ready to go.After a quick charge and an even faster flick of the on-switch for both the car and controller, it was ready to race around my house, much to the disgust of my dog. I started with a long-stretch of the hallway, of which has laminated floors. What I quickly found out about the RC car is just how drifty it can be if you want it to be, at least when it's on wood. When on carpet, it's a lot more controlled, but it works just as well on carpet or hardwood flooring, which is a great bonus. A lot of these really don't do that well on carpeted flooring unless you're paying more than the average.Going back to the driving, this RC shot-down my hallway at a much faster pace than I ever would have expected. Considering the price of this RC car, the speed it provides is a lot of fun and anyone thinking of getting this for races with their children is going to have a lot of fun, all at break-neck speeds. Providing you have the space for this kind of speed, of course.In terms of the build, I'm very happy with the build of the car. The plastic surrounding the car is solid and built to last, along with the suspension that keeps the wheels and chassis of the car intact. Pretty much no matter how hard you try, you're going to have a rough time causing any real damage to this thing. It takes bumps well, as well as jumps, and even drops off of stairs. Just how resilient this thing is makes it all the more enjoyable to play with, knowing just how well it's going to hold up in the long-run.Admittedly, though, the controller could do with a little bit more work on it. It's rather light, which is nice, so it isn't particularly hard to carry around for long periods of time. The main downside to the controller is the accelerator and the steering. Instead of gradual acceleration or turning, it is instead instant. When you turn left, it won't register until the steering wheel clicks, indicating that it's now turning left. The same is with the accelerator - when you hold accelerate or the reverse, it will go forward or back, but you can't slow it down in any way. Not unless you simply tap the acceleration, which is fine, but it's not preferable. Honestly, though, for the power and price you get with this RC car, it's to be expected.Overall, though, I honestly really enjoyed my time playing around with this RC car. At the speed it goes, I really was not expecting that and is easily one of the best aspects of the car as a whole. The controller isn't incredible, but the package as a whole is great value for money and is probably one of the best budget RC cars I've ever come across.

I ordered this for my Granddaughter for Christmas as she loves cars and anything remote control. Her Dad was at my house when it arrived and insisted we open it "in case it doesn't work" lol He proceeded to play with it in the laminated hallway for ages as although it worked fine on my rugs there wasn't enough room to "fully test" it as he said! He is now thinking about getting one for his three year old son too so they can race against each other, but I can imagine who will be using this the most and it won't be my Grandson :)*It looks very cool and drives pretty fast imo, hence why my son likes it so much.*Having a second battery that can be on charge while using the car is amazing to prevent frustration if the battery runs out while using it.*I've put a pic up of it plugged into my phone charger. It lights up while charging so you know as soon as the light goes out it is ready for action.*The remote is easy to use, just takes a few minutes to get used to changing direction with the wheel/round looking part of the handle.*There is an adjustment button underneath in case the wheels tend to veer to one side or the other - you just change it in tiny increments until it drives perfectly straightAll in all I am so glad I chose this RC car for my Granddaughter's Christmas present out of the hundreds on offer here on Amazon. Seems a great performer and definitely value for money. Now I just have to put it back in the box in a way she won't know we've been playing with it!

Idnidnt expect this RC car to be great to be honest.* Good value for money* Great starting car for kids.* Well built and sturdy design* Comes with 2 batteries and charger- Controller could be better designed as it can be confusing for younger kids- It could be a little too fast at times.- Steering can be a little "off" but that's ok at this price point!

I loved every bit of this Jeep. What a machine. The details don’t big it up enough and take no notice of the overall sizes. It’s around 12” long and works wonderfully. I bought this for my 6 year old GrandSon and he loves it. It’s fast too so when you press the trigger it takes off. Dads, Grandad’s and Mums are going to be fighting over this beautiful Jeep. Just plug the battery charger lead into one rechargeable battery and charge for 2 hours. A small green LED light will appear on the top of the charging lead where it’s plugged into the computer to show the battery is fully charged. There’s a second spare rechargeable battery enclosed so you can charge that and have it ready to take over from the one taken out when it loses it’s charge. This is definitely a must buy Jeep and I would have no hesitation to recommend anyone looking for this type of machine to buy straight away. It’s sturdy and full of quality. Customer Service is fantastic too. Buy! Buy! Buy!

Opened on 25th December as a Christmas gift however ordered in November.Controller doesn't work, rc car has no steering as the remote is faulty. Also batteries do not fit correctly into the remote.Return policy out of the window as after 30days, unsure how else to contact the seller.Hoping someone sees this and sends a replacement part or offers a return/swap as no contact details for customer support on the manual.

The media could not be loaded. Car is really nice. My 4 to loves it. Extra battery and charging is a plus but after two weeks of using wheels stopped turning.
