At first I loved these coin caps because they held my coins in place and made the coins very appealing but now I noticed yesterday whatever the black foam is made out of it has started to stain 2 of my silver eagles that I have not been able to rub off at all and that just lowered the value of two of my coins. So buyer beware at least don't put silver eagles in them.

These holders are very good. However if you have Morgan or Peace Dollars THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. I purchased these for the display/protection of Morgan and Peace dollars. Unfortunately this did not work. The last concentric circle removed to accommodate the coin leaves a gap which allows the coin to slide around.

Great Coin storage for the money. I have used them for Nickels thru 1oz rounds. I have not tried them on ASE's, which I have read that is where most of the negative reviews came from, so I did not buy these holders for my ASE's. I find them to be tight fitting/air tite, if properly used. For the 1oz rounds that were off-sized, I just used some clippings from the other black foam rings, to easily wedge them in the gaps, to make a nice snug fit. I found that using the corner of a business card worked well for wedging the clippings of foam rings in small gaps. All my holders were new, crisp and clear, no cracks or scuffs. The box that it comes with is a nice extra bonus, that will get used. I did have trouble trying to fit Lincoln Cents in the natural cut of the foam ring. Which, this is way too big of a holder to use it for anything smaller than a Nickel, IMO. I find these are a great option for Civil War Tokens that can be of various sizes. I use the same method on them that I did with the off-sized 1oz rounds, to get a snug fit. I will purchase more of these.

Amazing fit the punch out border is made of what appears to be a box foam so it limits rattle when the coins are in the casing. I made sure to use cotton gloves to handle all my coins and I've had them in there for over 2 months and there's been no tarnishing I'll let you know it's time goes on I'll post a six month review but so far loving it

My husband, purchased these to protect his coins. These are sturdy and easy to open. We like the black cushion around the coin since it really makes the coin stand out. We also like the carrying case this comes with. This is great for our use. Good price too. I highly recommend to all.

This product is fine just not what wanted. They are too small to hold silver eagles and to big for anything else.The rubber gaskets are thin and don't match the smaller coins I have. I don't like the gaskets anyway (personal choice) but most people would probably be okay with them.

I bought these to store a coin collection I inherited from my Dad. I had a few 1 ounce Gold Eagles from the U.S. Mint he left. The perforated rings do not fit the 1 ounce gold eagles. One ring if too tight and the other ring to sloppy. I was very disappointed in this box of capsules and most probably trash them.

I know that I wasn’t expecting every size of foam, But with my small coin collection I did have to make more coins fit than I was hoping. But I still would order this again.
