BEST THERMOMETER SO FAR
Go for this one, is FAST, ACCURTE, RELIABLE and VERY EASY TO USE. Not gonna write about how to use it, it has instructions and a very intuitive app that covers all the basic things. I was using 2 non contact thermomethers (sorry iHealth PT-3 Forehead Thermometer and Femometer DET-306) they were recomended by a nurse and a physician but after a few months I started getting very strange readings so I went to the old mercury thermometer which you all may know are very accurate but slow. After reading a lot I found this small marvel, being an electronic device and after the bad expereinces with the others I had my doubts and started comapring the readings between the mercury one, the 2 non contact and the Kinsa, and I have to say that it's perfect, the differences between the mercury and this are very tiny, almost imperceptible. The app helps you record the readings for all the members of your family individually, you create profiles for each one of them, and after using it when you open the app it asks you which member is the reading for and stores it, it also gives you the chance to say if you have other symptoms and gives you advice and what you should do. As you can see in the pictures is small and the screen is bright and clear, very aesy to read, you can change between F° o C° (refer to the intructions on how to do it). The probe is felxible and very soft and you can use it Oral, Armpit or Rectal, it's up tou the user. I have no doubts that is the best thermomether I've had and I hope it keeps working as fast and accurate for many years.

Awesome!
This thermometer is great! It’s quick to declare the temperature and seems highly accurate. The app function is so cool! You can add family members to track temperature history for different members. Such a unique function. Great for all ages too which is a plus!

Different readings/Not working
I’m trying to get someone to help with no luck, I bought this a few months ago, but didn’t need to use it, it was in it box, yesterday the I needed it, I opened it and put the batteries on, this thermometer gives me all different readings one right after the other, I’m not sure what’s happening, but it’s definitely not working. I used to have another Kinsa and that’s why I bought this one because I loved the old one. I hope someone can help because this thermometer seems to be defective.

easy to use
very nice digital thermometer. I was a huge believer in the ear thermometer. went to er and no fever yet fever with the ear one at home. So I purchased this one. Seems legit and it has an awesome app. so it will save your temperature and asks your symptoms and tell you what to do for it. Also has space for more than one person.. so far love it!

Generally accurate
This is the third generation of Kinsa thermometer our family has used. I have been very happy with the two oral thermometers we have used. Though I'm not completely pleased with this QuickScan thermometer. First and foremost, I'm not always sure the temperature is accurate. When I first used it, my son very clearly had a temperature yet the QuickScan indicated it was not very high. I tried using the oral thermometer and there was a discrepancy between the two devices. I contacted Kinsa directly and by the time I got the courtesy of a response, my son was well. Moreover, the customer service left a bit to be desired. I have used it on a few occasions since and have double checked nearly every time. The temperatures are generally the same. Accuracy aside, one thing I dislike about the QuickScan is the weight - or lack there of. It is extraordinarily light. Light enough that it feels cheap. Also, both of our Kinsa oral thermometers have come with a storage case. The first had a plastic box, the second had a little zip storage bag. This one has nothing. It just rolls arounds in the drawer where we keep our first aid supplies. When I have gotten out bandaids, I've gently touched the button and it has turned on. In future variations, I would suggest Kinsa have a storage solution or at least a snap on plastic that covers the button. For the positive, Kinsa's app is great. It can store temperatures for more than one family member. It inquires about other symptoms to give advice as to whether to monitor at home or contact a doctor. This information can be easily shared with others if needed. The home display also provides statistics local COVID and flu in your area. My husband had originally wanted to get a Withings thermometer. Not only is it more expensive it does not have an app that compares to the Kinsa product line. If tracking temperatures and symptoms during bouts of illness in your household is important to you, I would highly recommend the Kinsa thermometer line.

The best thermometer for your family!
We have the ear thermometer and it is the niftiest thing! I love that you connect it to an app and it will keep track of the last time it was used, what the temp was, who it was used for, what their symptoms are, and suggests care options. I feel like I get an accurate reading each time. Having a sick kid or being sick yourself can be stressful and this eases some of those details that can easily be forgotten (last time temp was taken and what it was, the last time meds were taken, etc.) and displays them in a timeline in the app. The app is easy to use and keeps everything in one place and is sorted by family member. You can add notes, reminders, a diagnosis, medications, and symptoms. It also tells you what illnesses are going around in your area, if you choose to opt in on that feature. You can also add your child’s school if they participate in using the app. Even if you don’t use the app, this is still a great tool to have in your medicine cabinet! It is absolutely worth every penny!
