It's a book that helps me on daily basis.I have to write business emails everyday (from Taiwan, as international sales)I learn to write clean and straight to the point.Compared with another international sales in the company, I show clear thinking and organization.Mumbling email can actually give a dumb impressionIt's definitely important to write emails with efficient communication.Compared with other books on the same topics, the writing style of this book also demonstrates the concision and efficiency.Thu helps me to get to the point quickly.A must read :-)

Great examples, but wish there was more...
Excellent book. It keeps emphasizing the new rules of engagement on emailing. I personally believe this book should be a text book for all high school students and college.People should not assume to know how to do emails after they graduate from any school.This should be a mandatory course. And this book should be one of the textbooks.I am reading this book frequently just to make sure I catch all of the lessons by heart.Highly recommended (if you want to move up the corporate ladder...)

Interesting and worth reading if email is important for you. Kindle edition is catastrophic
Practical and well written guide on writing effective and concise emails.Unfortunately, it is almost unreadable on my Kindle as it relies very much on email samples printed in a strange microscopic font that ends up us a grey blur on top of a grey background. Zooming does not help.In addition, it looks like something went really wrong in the conversion to electric form, making reading this ebook much harder than it should.I would strongly recommend that you read the book in a paper format. If you have to get the electronic version, plan on enjoying it on your computer and not on your Kindle.Just to be clear: the book is interesting and worth reading if email communication is important for you. The layout is catastrophic.

Read to write better emails.
This is a great book—readable, informative, engaging. The information is solid, even though it was published a while ago. I recommend it to anyone who struggles with writing succinct emails or who has writing issues. The templates for sentences and emails are really useful!

Disorganized and fonts uneasy to read
First off: there is a lot of great content in this book. There are two main problems it has. One, the table of contents is vague and confusing. This type of book needs a super thorough table of contents with every email scenario it includes, so you can go there and look up your specific area in question. Without such, you are left searching through the whole book for your type of email, which is stressful and time-consuming. Seems counter to what the whole book teaches, which is to be organized and effective in presentation/communication. Two, the fonts used are very difficult to scan and read quickly. I'd be interested to know if anyone has found a good email book that includes: a super thorough table of contents and easy-to-read fonts.UPDATE: As I was just skimming through the book, a page fell out in my hand. Umm, that's a first. So I'm lowering this review from 2 stars to 1 star for poor organization, poor design and poor quality. Also, the books cover says, "Including model letters for every situation". This is false. There MANY situations not covered in this book. How is anyone giving this 4 or 5 stars, I'm not sure. Must be paid reviews. Beware, this book is a mess. Look elsewhere and please comment if you know of any solid alternatives, I'm still looking. Thanks.

Spend less time wiring emails
Really helped my emails get read and reduced thread size by being more precise and efficient with information. I also spend a whole lot less time writing emails once I started to follow the pattern

Extremely helpful and clear!
The author provided excellent examples and clearly explained what to as well what not to do when writing emails--much of which is applicable to all business letter writing. While it is titled "Executive Guide," it is a useful guide for anyone who writes professional or personal business emails. I highly recommend this book
