Best shampoo for "mature", coarse hair. Coarse hair is not necessarily dry or damaged hair. This is one of the few shampoos that is specifically formulated for coarse textured hair. I have naturally thick, coarse hair and as I've gotten older, it has become more coarse (but not dry or color treated). This is the perfect shampoo for me. I follow up with a cleansing conditioner and only wash my hair every 2-3 days.

Great shampoo for the price! As we age our hair does indeed get coarse, Wella Age Restore Restoring Shampoo for Coarse Hair really softened my hair and made it quite manageable. I was a bit concerned about the smell, but it is not as strong smelling once you use it. If your hair is coarse I would highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product based on a recommendation from a friend and have been thrilled with it. My hair is salt and pepper and very coarse, it was beginning to feel very heavy- Age restoration shampoo gives my hair a soft and silky feeling and a lovely shine. I was also pleasantly surprised at the amount of shampoo needed, just a dime size amount will do the trick. I am delighted with the product and will continue buying it.
