I have been using this Flow Security Systems Faucet Lock for about 1 year and it has performed very well. The locking mechanism is easy to use and I can fairly quickly and easily unlock the faucet, do my daily watering tasks and then lock it again. It provides the added security that I needed. We had a neighbor who's basement was flooded. I didn't want our kids to cause the same thing to happen so we got these. They're great, easy to use, sturdy, simple. Now I'm not worried about our basement flooding I'd definitely recommend them

I have owned this water spigot lock for years. I constantly had people or companies using my hose and water without my permission. Some even left my front porch in taters! Spilled planters, flowers stopped on and more. This product is heavy duty, brass and works perfectly. Once they realize they can not use my water, they stay off my porch. Recently, my apartment was repiped to remove the old copper pipes. They replaced my whole water spigot. They handed me my old one with the lock still on. I couldn't get the lock off and had to review my instructions. Only, I didn't have them anymore. I looked on the Amazon reviews for this same lock. I found someone who was trying to help others with directions and it worked. I was able to go and immediately put this on my new spigot. When the lock is unlocked and ready to be placed on the spigot, the long line is facing the untextured side and when it is locked, the long line faces the textured side. Hope this helps.

Hola! It has been a year. I applaud this facet lock. It has given me relief to know that while traveling, no one is taking my water from my two outside faucets without permission (one at front and the other at the back). A drive through contractor attempted to use it. ~ It fits well. So far, rust resistant, locks are durable, keys are strong. Security is good! ~ Note: One downfall. I ordered the two-set pack that was suppose to come with two different keys. Unfortunately, they did not send me different keys for my two-set faucet locks. My suggestion is order them individually so you can receive separate keys. I wasn't happy about it but I was traveling. Gracias!

I had a problem, on weekends certain individuals would drive on the back side of my office and use my water faucet and run a car wash skim. It took me a while and I had to set up camera's to catch them. My water bill for have a couple of toilets and a coffee pot in my office was running extremely high. I add three of these to my three outlet and monthly costs dropped massively. I guess they were stealing a large amount of water every weekend. These are easy to use, understand the lock, you will need to find where the outside locking piece will catch with the inside piece to screw on, then the lock will remove the contact point so the outside just spins. no way to remove the cap, just make sure that you install it tightly before putting into the lock position so you cannot spin it off. I have used these for over 10 yrs now. I just finally replace my old ones for a set of new one, not because they did not work, but we were down to just one key, we seemed to have lost the other when allowing contractor to use and them not being returned. So I purchased 5 locks for 3 faucets and have another 10 keys. These are all keyed alike. I highly recommend these well built locks, solid brass. These are a great value.

While I can't prove that someone has been helping themselves to my water faucets lately, I had reason to believe that someone has been there before. I live in a wooded area, and I'm pretty certain that the small, woodland, critters that wander about are not the culprits. Although, that would be fun to see when I walk out in the morning and see a deer chugging from the faucet while rabbits, and squirrels, gather at the puddle beneath it as well. Even still, I needed to do something about it. This faucet lock is awesome with its simplicity, yet functionality. It has a low-profile silhouette that is more aesthetic to look at than its bulkier counterparts. After screwing the lock in place, and turning the key, that's it! You don't need to do anything else. While the key is set in place, the lock just spins on the faucet which prevents anyone, or anything, from getting to it now. And when I need to get water from it, just turn the key to the open position, and I can remove the lock for use. Another great feature of this lock is that while it's on, if someone, or something, were to turn the faucet on, this lock also has a seal on it to prevent any water from leaking out. With this lock in place, it has provided me with peace of mind on what is happening with my outdoor faucets. I love having this lock with me as it protects my faucets!

These do what they’re supposed to do … they lock the hose bibb so that even if the water is turned on, there is no flow. With the included keys, you can unscrew them, and then screw on your hose (or use the water straight from the spigot). I’d prefer a solution that doesn’t require removing and re-attaching the hose each time but we rarely use these public facing spigots, so they prevent vandals and others from flooding our front lawn (as has happened in the past). High quality, very durable and functional. Highly recommended.

Excellent quality faucet lock! Solidly built and works perfectly. I paired it with a faucet to garden hose adapter kit to prevent a toddler from turning on the water on my jacuzzi tub faucet. He loves to play with some toddler toys in the empty jacuzzi (not filled, of course), and the faucet and taps are a novelty and curiosity for the child. No more water pouring 'accidentally' into the ensuite jacuzzi (which I really do not use anymore).
