Sliced through turkey with ease
I bought this specifically for one reason, to slice through turkey and large meats. It did that job wonderfully. If you've tried carving through turkey or any large meats routinely, you know how much difference having a good knife makes. So I bought this knowing it's a specialty knife but well Worth it. I carved a turkey with ease, just for the time saved and hand fatigue that it cut it is completely worth it.It's a sizable knife so it's not really meant for daily use, think of a bread knife but for meat. That's why it's not 5 stars all around outside a few uses a year personally it's going to stay in the block but I will be sure glad to have it when it's needed.

Worked Well
Tried this knife out on my weekend bbq meals. Work very well on the baby back and short ribs. Cut it like butter but the ribs were cooked perfectly. Worked well on the tri tip. The knife has a very nice feel. I have very large hands I am a 6'8 guy and the knife had great grip and balance. Interested to try it on a turkey and brisket. Fits perfect in my knife block with my other knifes. Makes it easy to get to . Glad I purchased it. Worth the $60.

Really, really sharp!
I've purchased several of these. I've kept some and given the others to the other cooks in my extended family. I've never been disappointed.These blades slice through brisket, pork loins and hams like they were butter.I have both the 10" and the 12" blades. The 10" work best for me on the types of meats I slice most often: briskets, pork loins and medium-sized hams. The 12" is good for larger meats such as really big hams and larger turkeys.I treat them carefully, always trying to avoid dinging them against hard objects. I hand wash them and keep their blades covered when they are not in use.I recommend the Messermeister edge guards.These are good quality knives and I highly recommend them.

Awesome Carving Knife
Bought this knife to cut a smoked brisket on 4th of July and was not disappointed. This knife cut through the brisket just like it was a stick of butter. There was no need for sawing or hacking. I got perfect slices and even thickness throughout the brisket. The knife maintains it's edge without sharpening for a long time as well.

Sharp and easy
I bought this knife in two lengths, and I highly recommend them both. I use the longer one for cutting homemade pizza, sheet cakes, and other large things. The slightly smaller one is great for carving meat. These knives are sharp and cut like a breeze. The handles are very comfortable in the hand and clean up very easily.

Must have slicing tool
This far exceeds my expectations.Great balance and it cuts paper thin.Easy to sharpen ,a few swipes and done. Like all quality knives don't put in dishwasher.Clean with mild soap and hand dry.Used on a roast and sliced perfectly.This slicer is just the right length and heft. Briskets, Turkeys, Roasts, its a must have.Can't say enough good things.

Great Slicer, Right Size.
Have a 12" Victorinox, but it is a bit unwieldy-this is nicer size for all but the biggest roasts. Very sharp slicing knife, and re-sharpens well. Buy an edge guard, as blade is fairly thin and will damage if thrown unprotected in drawer, not to mention dangerously sharp. Good quality for the price.

Super Slick Slicing Knife
Two hams (1 12lb, 1 10lb) sliced up with ease. Does prime rib in short order with consistent pieces. It’s great to slice up top sirloin and eye of round roasts. Briskets are a breeze with this knife. The handle is very comfortable. And you can get the last of the mayo out of the bottom of the jar when using the knife to make sandwiches. Personally I have no need for the 12” size so this works perfectly. Just steel it after every use and it will stay sharp quite a long time.
