Q: What is the purpose of the the adjustable taper level when the attachment combs are in use?

When you're cutting a fuller head of hair (like young boys have), jumping from grade 1 to grade 2 can still leave a visible line in the hair. The taper level allows for you to blend this out, leaving a nice smooth fade.

Q: What are the in mm lengths of the 10 attachments (excluding the Left & Right Ear ones), please?

The lengths are on the guards. They are numbered from 1/2 upwards with the length in mm. You can also google guard lengths on line to confirm the height of cut.

Q: Are the attachments Flexible?

The attachments are made of a hard plastic with a slight bit of flex in them. Very easy to clip and unclip fron the unit itself.

Q: Hello, Is the machine water-proof/washable/can be used under shower? Are blades detacxhable & rust-free? Thanks!

In short...No!... Unfortunately. These clippers seemed great when I first used them but after a few uses hairs built up all around the clipper head and mostly could not be removed with the little cleaning brush that comes with it. Unfortunately no part of this unit can be immersed in water, not even the head. The head also looses sharpness fast. To fully clean the head, it requires dismantling with a screwdriver and reassembly. Would I purchase these clippers again....no! Do I regret buying them...yes! Spend a little extra on clippers with a detachable and washable head. Trust me... you're worth it!
