Keeps My Birds Warm and Happy
I bought this for my bird aviary. Usually every winter I bring my pair of budgies into the house for the cold months but this year they finally hatched 6 baby chicks and the thought of the mess to clear up every day put me off having them all inside. So I opted for this heat lamp and it is absolutely brilliant. With two settings so far this winter I have kept them on the lower setting but colder weather is forecast for this coming week so I have turned it up today. I have quite a big aviary and it keeps them nice and snug. We have covered the wiring in some old cut hosepipe and they love sitting on it right next door to the lamp for the night and don't bother with going into their nighttime cage which is in the aviary. Very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend.

Handy heat lamp
I bought some chickens last year and decided this Year, to raise some cream legbar chicks. This has kept them lovely and warm. I kept them on a high heat for the first four weeks and moved over to the and now they have come off heat. Good quality and light easy to hang. Had it on continuously for weeks and no issues

Bulb was faulty
The lamp works, however the bulb that was included, popped and started to smoke. Lucky I have an another bulb that was bought from another firm, that fits and works fine. Haven’t been able to contact seller for replacement
