This Tool Can Cut It!
Excellent execution and design. EASY to shorten or lengthen pole, even with gloves on. For future ease of use, I'd like to be able to order extra blades at the same time. Simplifies the task - well satisfied!

Good product
Tried it out the same day I got it. Pole is sturdy, blade has some flex. Let the saw do the work, cuts fast and clean.

Definitely Long Enough
I had let my angel trumpet trees grow unhampered for the past year and they were about 30" tall. Definitely not a good idea around power lines. I got this trimmer for the length and it definitely does extend safely to the desired length. The blade is very sharp (handle with care!!) and easy to attach to the pole. The clasps that hold the extended pole in place see m sturdy enough, although they are plastic and no doubt will break under the right circumstances. The blade attaches to the pole with two small bolts and washers and wing nuts. It's ok, but these bolts could bend or break under a lot of pressure and wing nuts can strip. I'd prefer a screw tight collar arrangement for more security. The curved blade is very sharp, but depending on the angle and your distance from the the limb being cut, it can be tricky to get that first bite. The blade metal is just ok and I can see it would be easy to bend this blade because it's not as thick as I would like. Overall, not a bad tool, but not one meant for heavy duty use.

I do arborist work
First off I did like that I could shorten or lengthen the pole while climbing in tree. But here is what I don’t like about it.1. Saw blade wasn’t good enough for me so I bought the Silky Replacement Blade HAYAUCHI/TODOKU 390mm. So already a $91 upgrade.2. Clamps and flare on poles to keep sections from pulling apart from each other weren’t adequate.3. Once my pole was in two parts trying to get a light clinger I found that the only thing keeping the inner pole from coming out was duct tape. Sure easy fix but still a strange engineering solution to an issue. So not for anyone who is a professional.I would say home owner special and not recommended for heavy usage.

Don’t Let a Limb Fall on It... but you can count on the seller to stand behind it!
Nice saw while it lasts. But don’t let a limb fall on it... the shaft will snap like a pretzel. A freak accident while pruning some large limbs, but it is an aluminum pole that may not take any side ways collisions with tree limbs.Update: I just want to thank the seller publicly for his unexpected response to my pole saw demise. It was a freak accident and not the fault of the saw itself. Again I say, it’s a great saw and I was upset when it was destroyed. The telescoping aluminum saw is very strong vertically, that is of course the direction when sawing. But the reality is that a light aluminum pole can snap or break if hit hard laterally as it was by a good sized limb falling on it while I was holding the one end. And although it was not the saws fault, the seller was uncommonly thoughtful/ magnanimous in refunding my purchase price. My original review was mainly to alert other users of what could happen if the pole was struck sideways... never expecting any compensation. I would buy this saw again and I want to upgrade my rating because it is a great product and so are the folks standing behind it. Best regards, a happy buyer.

Texas Tough!
This saw went through live oak like butter. It's a mature tree, at that. I've had this pruner for a few months now and I can't say enough about it. The same day I received it, I pruned back an overgrown oak and my father's overgrown ash tree in no time! I'm very happy with it.
