9 Inch Hand-Carved Olive Wood Bowl, Uniquely Crafted in Kenya, Slight Variation Due to Handmade Nature

I LOVE my bowl! It is perfect! Nine inches, true to description. This is the third wooden salad bowl I've tried and the first one to arrive as described and NOT smelling like something died in it. I have wanted a bowl just like this for years, and I could not be happier with this one! Thanks for a beautiful piece of olive wood handcrafting!

More decorative than useful in any other way.I like it, would love it more if it was 9in as advertised, it’s 7in.

I rarely write reviews, because I generally am happy with the product or service I have received. After reading the reviews for this bowl, I decided to take a chance. The product described was exactly what I was looking for as I already have a 12 inch olive wood bowl and a few 5 inch olive wood bowls that I really enjoy. Unfortunately, when I received this bowl it is no where close to 9 inches in diameter. I purchase many handmade products and to be off two inches or more indicates to me that the product is completely misrepresented. Do not purchase this product unless you will be satisfied with a 7 inch bowl. However, it is completely overpriced for what I received. This is the first time I have been completely dissatisfied with a product from Amazon and believe I have been duped by a company not totally honest about what they are selling. Buyer Beware!!!

I think the vendor fixed any issue with undersized bowls. My is a full 9". It is very pretty.Thanks!

We bought these to eat our individual salads. We like LOTS of salad, and they are great for that. I wish the organization working with the craftspeople in Kenya would introduce them to butcher block oil or something else to give some finish to them (and yes, I'd pay $5 more if it had some finish), but we've used them a dozen times and washed them lightly with soap, and they don't pick up any smell or stains (we never let anything sit in the bowls).

True olive wood quality. Not perfect curves because it's hand made but good enough for 5 stars

The bowl is only 7.25 inches measuring the widest part on the outside..see photo. Otherwise it is a beautiful bowl. If you want one that is 7 inches, I recommend it - if you want the 9 inch bowl they advertise it as, I CANNOT recommend it. Gave it 2 stars for the beauty only. I am sad it is so small as I would love to keep it, but at this size, it isn't big enough for my use. Buyers be aware.

It is a beautiful bowl, ever prettier after I oiled it. But it is not 9", it is 7 1/2. I will definitely keep it but not for the intended use.
