Gloria Vanderbilt Womens Amanda Classic High Rise Tapered Jean Petite

I recently tried this style of jeans from Gloria Vanderbilt. I really like how they feel and how they fit, but they are a bit big in my waist. That's because I have the classic pear shape. I'm currently at 170 lbs and 5' 8.5'', so I like the fit of size 14. The extra room in the waist will allow me to tuck in my shirt or blouse, maybe even a lightweight sweater, which I would not try until having recently lost enough weight to do so. This huckleberry color is a really nice shade of red. It's kind of a cool wine color. I won't be saving them for just the holidays since they aren't Christmas red, thankfully. I'll be able to wear a lot of my prints and solids with this color. Yay! The length is great for me and though the legs are considered "tapered", they aren't that skin tight look of skinny jeans. My knees tend to be thick, even when I'm thin, so the fit looks much better on me than any skinny jean. And they aren't that awful wide leg that seems to be "the" trend right now. This jean style is classic and flattering.

I love how Gloria Vanderbilt jeans fits my body. Great quality jeans. I love that a smaller person like me can get jeans that fit my height. Machine wash machine dry. The plus sizes helps a lot!

Great jeans. Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda is the only jeans I will wear. They have a great fit and are very comfortable. They have great color. They have a little stretch to them but not much that you feel like you're wearing your grandmother's pants. I can't say enough about the Amanda jeans. I love them so much.

I have other Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda jeans but I didn't have a black pair. Of course, these did not disappoint! The length was perfect as well as the fit. I hope they never change the style or fit of Amanda jeans, because when you know your correct size, you know what you're getting every time. The price is also fantastic!

These jeans, the color name was shown as a blue jean, in the photo online. When I received them, they were white! No blue at all, but a solid, true white (not off white) jean. I received my money back, but it was a letdown because it was a good price and I needed them, due to weight gain. I was 227 pounds and 5’7”. Size 20 was roomy, but if you want to wear long johns or leggings under them in winter or just don’t like a tight waist, your regular size should work well. If you don’t have a big waist, relative to your hips, you might want to size down (if you don’t mind tight) or wear a belt (my strategy, as I have GI problems and endometriosis, so I have pelvic pain. These are straight jeans, not curvy, but they are true to plus size and seem best for apple shapes (smaller waist to hip ratio, larger waist) or rectangle shapes (about the same size waist and hips). I’m a pear shape, so the waist was big on me but they did fit my big back, hips and thighs.

I love the Gloria Vanderbilt Amanda style jeans. They've got just enough stretch in them that I can still wear them when I put on a few extra Thanksgiving pounds. They also have pockets that are deep enough to actually put something in them. And I love all the colors that they come in. They are comfortable and last a long time.
