THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION 160 PAGES I LOVE THIS FIRST ONE WHICH HAS A FOLD OUT IN THE FRONT WITH DISNEY CHARACTERS THERE ARE SEVERAL NEWER EDITIONS EACH WITH A LOT MORE PAGES AND A LOT MORE INFORMATION THE NEWEST HAS OVER 500 PAGES GREAT BOOKS FOR DISNEY FANS THIS ONE I THINK IS MY FAVORITE BUT I DO OWN THE 1999 ONE AND PLAN ON GETTING THE NEWEST BUT A LITTLE EXPENSIVE AT THIS TIME OVER 50 DOLLARS

OVER THE PAST SEVERAL YEARS I PURCHASED VARIOUS EDITIONS OF THE ART OF WALT DISNEY: FROM MICKEY MOUSE TO THE MAGIC KINGDOMS FOR EACH OF MY FIVE GROWN CHILDREN PLUS THE COPIES FOR MY WIFE AND I. THESE BOOK EDITIONS REFLECT A VIBRANT HISTORY OF WALT DISNEY'S LOVE AFFAIR WITH MICKEY MOUSE AND HOW THE VAST EMPIRE OF DISNEYLAND, WALT DISNEY WORLD, AND THE MANY OTHER DISNEY ENTERPRISES DEMONSTRATE THE EXQUISITE TALENTS OF THE MANY ARTISTS WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE LEGACY OF WALT DISNEY. MY FAMILY HAS BEEN GOING TO WALT DISNEY WORLD ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS OVER THE PAST 25 YEARS AND THIS BOOK IS A TREASURE TO COMPLEMENT OUR ACTUAL EXPERIENCES. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO PURCHASE MORE RECENT EDITIONS OF THIS BOOK FOR MY FAMILY.

The book is excellent but delivery was poor because of delays.

As a book that produces the art of disney (particularly its animation) this book excels! It provides a complete history of Disney art and animation.As an art book however it is quite disappointing. I was expecting the book to explore Disney art, instead it just describes what each film or piece of art is about - something that i found to be very disappointing and underwhelming.The book is still great if your a fan of disney animation, especially considering its size!

i remember first looking at this when i was around 6, sitting on the floor of my local library. i loved it then and still do to this day.....the artwork reproductions in it are beautiful.

This book is overwhelmingly amazing. I wish they would have added more of Disney's earlier stuff like from Steamboat Willie and mostly focused on Disney's early drawings and how he came up with Mikey Mouse. BUT i am not disappointed with this book. It does give a little bit of everything from Disney which is what anyone wants :)

Absolutely obsessed with this book! I'm a huge Disney fan and I have an annual pass to Disneyland. I thought about buying this book there but always decided that it would be too heavy to carry around and was pricey. Amazon's price was great so I bit the bullet and purchased it. Best purchase I've made. I get such joy out of this book and any Disney fan will too! It's a wonderful keepsake to pass on from generation to generation!

I got this book for my daughter. This is her review: As a lover of anything and everything Disney, I was absolutely in love with this book as soon as I laid my eyes on it. It not only includes hundreds of pages of information, but also features many beautiful pictures from movies, concept art, and more. I could spend hours reading this book, and would highly recommend it to anyone who really loves Walt Disney's work.

I CANNOT believe I got this so cheap. I had expected this to be a tiny book with generic information on the Walt Disney Company, but this blew me away. I am a huge Disney history buff and an even bigger Parks buff, so this was an incredible find, and for dirt cheap! I'd get it now before they're gone as the RRP for this book is £14.99! I seriously recommend this for any hardcore Disney fans. Or just anybody to be honest, because it's such a great read. Also, it has a foreword by Roy Disney, which is utterly amazing. The delivery was quicker than expected, which is a bonus. If I could give it more stars, I would.

If you love the art of animation and especially the art of Mr Walt Disney Then this is definetly for you.Great book with lots of pictures and a great deal of detailed information.Updated to include the Pixar era.

this book is wonderful! A must have for any Disney fan interested in the history!
