Q: I know the max size is 32inch. But if the monitor fits the vesa mount and is well under the max weight. Is there any reason a 42inch couldnt be used?

Yes, I have a 34 inch ultra wide monitor and the bracket holds it comfortably. My monitor is 9.7kg and the bracket isn’t under any strain at all.

Q: How long is the warranty?

Update. Have just been on to the ErGear website and it is stating that it has a 5 YEAR WARRANTY. Hope this helps.

Yes. I have this arm and 32" g7. The first arm i got couldn't hold without a tilt. ErGear got in touch with me after i wrote my review with the tilt issue and turns out the first arm was faulty . Ergear sent me out a replacement arm directly and extremely fast delivery. Second arm works perfectly with my 32"g7.
