The suction cup fell off after a couple days. I live in the Mojave Desert so I’m assuming the heat played a part. The detection is great on this. Calling their tech support once you buy it and having them help you dial it in for your area is awesome because there is a ton of settings. It has saved me numerous times. This is my first detector so I have nothing to compare it to as far as accuracy and warning time goes. It’s very expensive. So I did knock it down on the value aspect. If you choose to buy the laser defusers they are around 800-900.

This detector has so many features to set before you can ride with it being somewhat quiet. If you were comparing it to say R7 Uniden or a new Escort Redline you will be highly disappointed the range is terrible the accuracy is terrible just like all the laser shifter attempts.... Buyer Beware. Look at youtube real life videos on k40. Any k40. Terrible

An excellent radar detector. Has already saved me thousands of dollars in fines and points. The filtering routines for false positives have much improved since the last model I have on my other car. I highly recommend this product.
