I have a tight fitting boat cover that tended to not quite pull down as far as I'd like in one spot. Used these clips to add an attack point on the cover so I could add another strap precisely where I needed it. It's windy here, and this far I've had no issues with the clips slipping off.

I presently have tarp grabbers but these grabbers are significantly larger. As a consequence of size of the grabber, the grabber teeth are also larger and thus have a larger surface area to grab.By design, the teeth face inward to increase the grab effect.Since these grabbers are heavy duty, I will be replacing my lighter duty grabbers along a shade sail edge to get the tightness I need to fend off rain/water without any chance of slippage.Definitely, for large tarps/ covers these are the ones to get. You should not need a lot of them to get the hold down you need.

I have been planting greens in my greenhouse for about four years. The plastic is getting brittle and torn from the wind blowing it around. I tried grommets and line, but it tore through the plastic and the grommets were also not very well made. I found these while searching for something else on Amazon, and figured they might do the trick. I've had them installed for two weeks now. We've had rain the last ten days, and there was enough wind, there was a house that blew by with a girl and a small dog, but these clamps held. 50-65 km/h gusts this past weekend and they held well. Hole was plenty large enough for paracord and the jaws of these clamps held the plastic tightly. They seem well made, but I cannot speak to this time to their longevity/durability. Now I have to go deal with that witch under the house now...
