do these have that crinkly/plastic stuff that makes a lot of noise when you sleep on it? Or is it more like regular fabric?

The bamboo pillow protectors are really, really nice. Soft and smooth and dont sleep hot. I had silk lined pillow protectors, and I like these much better. No noise, no crinkle, just lovely softness. I cover my pillows in these bamboo protectors and then use silk pillowcases and the bamboo under neath the silk makes the silk extra smooth!

do these protect against dust mites?

The products says it does, I don't know. But I do know I have been sleeping better and breathing better since I started snuggling up to these pillow cases. Personally, I think it is a great product for dust mites.

Where are these manufactured?

I'm not sure. I ordered these and within a week they were delivered. I did wash before use. No issues. I'll order again when needed if available
