The place had been broken into before by a squatter, so I wanted something visible that would help deter any future unwanted visitors while I work on getting the place fixed up. These definitely do the trick.The red blinking light is surprisingly convincing, especially at night. Even without power to the house, the battery-powered light gives the illusion that the cameras are real and active. I installed one at the front of the property and one at the back to cover both main points of entry. For added realism, I even attached a small piece of wire to each unit to make it look like it’s wired into the house—just a small detail, but it really sells the effect.Installation was a breeze. They’re lightweight and come with the hardware needed to mount them quickly. They also have a nice, sturdy look from a distance and blend in well with the exterior. From the street or driveway, you’d never guess they aren’t functional.So far, so good—no break-ins or suspicious activity since putting them up. Of course, I know they aren’t actually recording anything, but the visual presence alone seems to be enough to make people think twice. For the price, you really can’t go wrong if you’re looking for a temporary or low-cost deterrent.If you’re dealing with a vacant property or any space without electricity, I definitely recommend these as an added layer of security. They’ve given me a little extra peace of mind while I focus on the renovations.

These look real and don't seem or feel cheap to me like other reviews said.I left the blinking leds off, half the houses on my street have real camera's. Not a single one has a blinking led, but all the fake camera's I looked at do. Any potential theives will probably be aware of this too.

Works pretty well as long as you replace the batteries. I bought two for a friend that wanted them on his patio. They are plastic and really not a lot to them. But they do look real after they are hung and powered up with a battery.

Very cheap screws. Suggest you buy some good screws. Will see how long batteries last!

These served the purpose. They look very realistic. They have a blinking light and you can attach them wherever you would like. No one would be able to decipher the difference between these and actual real video cameras. This is great if you want a level of protection without spending lots of money.

Very realistic! I like that they have a flashing red light. I put these around my house and garage. They look like they are recording. I can recommend these - and they are very easy to install.
