College Dorm Room
I wasn't sure if this was going to be powerful enough for a salon with all the hair and particles in the air. This was the best part of my salon because it kept the air clean it help with any smells in the salon and it doesn't clog up. It took a long time for me to have to even change and clean the filter. I wish I had bought more and it is on my wish list to have more of these. It's so small, noise free, easy to function, helps with allergies, it helps build air quality and it has an auto mode feature. It's built with quality to last for years. I've knocked it over several times and it's never broken! The functionality of this very simple but powerful air purifier is phenomenally amazing. I really had no idea if it was going to be able to do the job. Boy did it exceeds my expectations! Stop Playing and buy a few❣️ It is small. It can put it in a corner, under a table or in a COLLEGE DORM ROOM. IT'S not bulky. This item will fit any decor.

Very quiet and effective
We've had the unit operating in an archway between a dining and living area which is about 440 sq. ft. combined. In the low speed setting it is very quiet, yet still moves a decent amount of air. As the fan speed increases the unit becomes progressively noisier. You can fix the unit to any of the fan speeds (Low, Medium, High and Turbo) or let it run in Auto mode which adjusts the fan speed to air quality. There is an air quality sensor in the unit. The color of the light on the top will change based on the perceived quality of the air. We run the unit in Auto mode now and most of the time it runs in Low speed with excellent air quality. However there have been a couple times where something has burnt in the kitchen and the unit sensed a drop in air quality, the color of the output light changed and the unit kicked into a higher speed. We were surprised at how quickly it removed the smoke and kitchen smells from the room. We turn off the unit when we go to bed and turn it on each morning. There is a memory function that maintains the last settings so there is no need to make any adjustments when switching off and on.There are a few other features that we don't really use, but may be good for some. The Sleep mode makes the unit run extremely quiet, even quieter than Low Speed, and all of the lighting is turned off except a couple buttons at half brightness. During normal operation if you don't want the lighting it can be turned off. There is also a timer feature to turn the unit off after 2, 4, 6 or 8 hours. These functions seem more likely to be used if the unit was placed in a bedroom. We've had the unit just under 2 weeks and so far have been very happy with it. I pulled the filter out and it still looked quite clean. We are a family of allergy sufferers so no indoor pets with hair. It's recommended to change the filter every 6-8 months, so I'm hoping to get closer to 8 months, but would be happy even if it required a change at 6 months. It's also recommended to vacuum the filter every couple of weeks to extend its life and keep the unit running optimally. We own a smaller HEPA filter unit from another brand that is used in one of the bedrooms. That unit doesn't include a timer feature and may be slightly noisier in low speed. This unit seems to be working just as well and handling a much larger living space. So far we have been very happy with this unit.

This is my second purchase
This is my second time buying this. The first one I bought over a year ago and is still going strong. We use it in our bunny room and it removes most of the smell and helps with the hay pollen and fur floating around in the air. I do have to occasionally remove fur from the outside vents and shake out the inside filter to keep it working at full strength. The only thing I will say is it started making a weird noise a few months ago that sounded like squeaking. I turned it off because I run it 24/7 and thought maybe it was the gears inside from being over worked. I turned it back on and it was gone, but then started a few days later. I replaced the filter and it stopped for a few days, but then came back but just off and on. I use it non stop so I think that the inside components may be breaking down slowly from excessive use. So now I give it a break for a few hours each day or wont use it for a day every few days. That has seemed to help.I bought this second one for my room and it has made it way less stuffy. I may buy a 3rd one for my daughters room soon. I love them and they hold up even with a ton of use in a multi pet home with dirt fields behind us. Don't hesitate just buy it!
