Cool Power is a good name for this duo set from L'Oreal Men Expert, one half of it is very cooling while the other is extremely powerful. The shower gel is the cooling one and has a distinct cooling menthol-like sensation on the skin and is just the thing in the morning to wake you up. It's not over-the-top, just enough to leave you feeling refreshed, and the fragrance isn't too overpowering either, although it's not very sophisticated being a typical minty 'men's' fragrance.The antiperspirant is another matter and the fragrance it creates is so powerful L'Oreal could legitimately offer it as an offensive weapon. Honestly, it reeks. You smell it throughout the house after just one application. Your neighbours will smell it. You'll think I'm exaggerating but I'm not. Well, not much. This is all fine assuming you like the fragrance it has, which is fresh and clean and doesn't have the 'Dad's aftershave' scent some L'Oreal Men's stuff has.It does calm down a bit after application but lingers for long enough to be effective but if you wear any other kind of fragrance it's going to get drowned out by this. It also comes in a can with handy screw-lock top so there's no danger of it deploying in your suitcase and no cap to lose. Just apply with caution.

MESSAGE TO L'OREAL (Hopefully they read these!)I like L'Oreal new products and range for Men especially. Their red anti ageing moisturiser is fantastic and has become my staple.But if you bought me one of these as a gift I would be pretty sad as I can get these on weekly shop at any point. These sets are missing a third product to round off a complete set like moisturiser like some of the others have. A gift set should be 3 things minimum like a lot of the EDT sets are. Cologne, Shower gel and aftershave balm for example and L'Oreal just like Lynx should be making something like this. Step up their presence just that little bit more to compete.The shower gel is quite a fresh known smell to it and the thickness is great.The spray should now be converted to roll ons which are now more popular in other countries like USA do with Cool Water. Not so many chemicals for spray cans compared with having less in Roll Ons which I am a fan of and bring back with me when I visit USA.This is 3 stars not because it is a bad product but because it is missing something to make it complete. Even £2 more but adding moisturiser or balm would be 100% ideal.
