Mango, Abuela, and Me Hardcover – Picture Book, August 25, 2015

My 8 yr old kiddo loves this book. She can definitely relate to it as her grandma has a bird named Mango same breed too. Their are words in Spanish so if your are not fluent I don’t recommend it.

My kids love this book. I enjoy the Spanglish. We are raising the kids bilingual but they prefer English. The Spanish words Mixed in help me feel like I am not completely neglecting the language.

I read this book to my 2 and 4 year old grandkids. It’s a delightful story with bright illustrations. Mango helps grandma and her grandchild communicate. Brilliant plot.

I thought the book would be interesting for someone with family who speak another language than English. I enjoyed reading it, but purchased the book to give to children still recovering from the hurricane in Houston.

Purchased this book to support United Way San Diego summer literacy program for kids.

I bought this book for my 3 year granddaughter. Favorite book because it’s about a grandmother and granddaughter relationship. She calls it her Nana’s book.

This is a great story. Mostly in English with some Spanish words incorporated. I use it in my elementary Spanish classes.

My daugther loved it and keeps asking me to read it over and over.
