Speedball047521 Night Glo Screen Printing Ink, 8 fl. oz., Yellow

Got this to do a custom Tron styled glow shirt. Works great. I applied a white undercoat and laid this on top. Glows very strongly although the glow is green. The ink looks blue in regular light.

Love the color! Great for making fireflies!

I am always doing some random silk screening project for myself or friends – the current project is with glow in the dark ink. Now I have used the white and green before but was looking for additional colors to use on the bandanas. These bandanas will be for a dog birthday party that is kind of a “rave” theme. Mostly we will be at the dog park at dusk playing with the dog with anything glow in the dark dog friendly that we can find – so birthday party bandanas is one of the things. My step daughter has drawn out a design and I have made a screen, now I am silk screening puppy party bandanas. The yellow glow in the dark ink is being used on light blue bandanas. The design is easily seen in the light and does glow in the dark. I tried to take a picture of it – however it did not come out well. It does not glow bright – but it does glow. Or at least it will until the dogs get mud on them while plying at the dog park at dusk. The ink applied smoothly with no problems, dried in the same amount of time as the non-glow in the dark inks that I have used. Overall, I am happy with the way the project turned out. Keep in mind – these will not glow bright but they do glow.

At first I did not like this stuff because it's so thin. But after working with it for a while, the results are actually very nice. Key to using this stuff is a 300 mesh screen and a gentle hand. Many light coats. Heat gun or blow dryer in between coats. Would recommend.
