I bought these to use as large ice blocks and they work great, I just wish they were in difference sizes or tweaked a bit to fit in a standard 48 qt ice chest. See the pictures for sizes and the blue block is a  Lifoam 4943 The Glacier Reusable Ice Hard Pack, 62 ounces  to give you an idea of a size comparison.

The shape of the container looked like it would work well for me so I bought one to see how it did. The lid has no gasket of any kind so it is depending on a plastic to plastic seal to hold in the water. If you stored it vertically you would be ok but if you store it horizontally it leaks.

Used as ice in my cooler that when melted was great water source on my week long rafting trip

it's bigger than I thought, but it will work for my intended use.

Great product to store foodstuffs in your trailer. Compact and it seals really tight.

These are much better storage containers than I had been previously using. They are strong, don't leak, and use space very efficiently. I prefer the one-gallon containers to larger ones as they are easy to maneuver and the interlocking design gives multiple configurations for storage. Ben promptly answered my questions about preparations for water storage, so I am set with 10 containers with 5 days of water in case of emergency.

Doesn't stack without falling over, and doesn't hold water without leaking!

Wanted this item to put under the seats in my cars and it works great. I have had no problems with it leaking at all. Its a nice compact way to carry a little water in your vehicles or coolers.
